The beauty of Jesus is that, he chooses the weak things of the world to shame the strong; and the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; and I want to tell you that, no matter who you are, I can challenge you, if you surrender your life to Jesus, He has a plan that will change and transformed not only your life, but the lives those who looks at you, and believe your Jesus.

MEEKNESS, A CHARACTER TRAIT THAT OPENS DOORS.

Meekness is a combination of humility and simplicity. Beloved, the right character is a door opener. Meekness is one of the character trait that opens doors in a person's life. James 4:6 says, But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

Meekness is a character trait that opens destiny doors of opportunities to people. If God resists the proud, it means the proud has no future. When people are full of themselves, they are empty of God and empty of people. Nobody wants to hang around the proud; no one is interested in keeping the company of the person who usually puts people down.

Nobody wants to hang around the person who does not understand humility, simplicity and meekness. No one wants to hang around someone who despises or looks down on others. For instance, some people do not think that you can amount to anything in life. They think that you are not at their level. Such people are full of themselves and empty of both God and people.

You see, it is disastrous for someone to have an air of arrogance around them. Such a person finds it difficult to submit to any authority. They don’t take instructions from anyone. It is as if the whole world revolves around them. They put themselves first in everything they do. In their place of work, the interest of their boss is not their concern. Such a person has no future.

Beloved, if you don’t want God to resist you, embrace the garment of humility; refuse to be proud.

GODLY CHARACTER BRINGS FAVOR

And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured. GENESIS 39:6.

It has been established that character is critical to the fulfilment of destiny.
The quality of a man’s character is the quality of his destiny.

There is a character that attracts people to a person, and there is a character that repels people from the person. There is a character that draws people to a person, and a character that drives people away from a person.
There is a character that opens doors and there is a character that closes doors. There is a character that attracts people and there is a character that repels people from someone's life.
There is a character that multiplies opportunity and there is a character that diminishes opportunity.
There is a character that makes people get interested in someone and there is a character that makes people to lose interest in a person. There is a character that increases favour and there is a character that diminishes favour.
So, in life, a person’s character greatly affects their destiny. The outcome of a man’s life is greatly influenced by his character. There is a winning character; that is a character that makes people to win by all means. And there is a losing character that makes a man to lose in life.

From the Scripture, we understand that Potiphar left everything he had under the care of Joseph because of Joseph’s quality character. Genesis 39:6 says, And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured.

The goodliness of Joseph attracted favour to his life. If you are a goodly person, you must be favoured. When you have godly character, you will not lack favour. By all means, make up your mind to uphold godly character.
Remember, When you have godly character, you will not lack favour.

Family is the most important thing that complete a person; they are with you all the time; in good, and in bad time; they're your permanent companion for life; no matter what happens, they will always stay by your side. Never take the side of other people against your own family; don't put your family down before people, especially your spouse, otherwise you ruined not only their respect but yours too; defend them first and discipline them in love later. Family is like an egg, if you don't handle yours with care, it will break up, and no matter what you do, it won't be the same again.

God will always prove you, before He approves of you; and when God approves of you, your promotion is sure.
The virtue of meekness is a principal requirement of every child of God. Matt 5:5. Meekness is not something you can judge outwardly. Meekness is a fruit of the Spirit.
The fruit of the Spirit is what determines your place in heaven.
Don't be carried away by charisma! You outward make up. Look, charisma gives you favor but, it's your character and meekness that will sustain it.
The way to enjoy more grace in your life is to remain humble. God stands in the way of the progress of the proud.
What God shows you is what shows you to your world. Stop asking God to make you great! instead, pray for Him to make you humble; because the meek always end up very great.

The value of praise! Praise takes God's people to the high place in life. Praise is your power to be raise as a child of God; if you don't want your life to be grounded, praise is the key. Always remember that depression will keep you in the valley; it will keep you in the low place in life. Whereas, Joy and celebration gives you elevation; it will take you to the high place in life. If the devil want to keep you in the pit, he steals your joy. Never allow the devil takes from you what he didn't give to you. Joy is a choice for every child of God; it's not a gift.

2. Societal influence; over conscious of what society is saying or doing; until you take a stand, you cannot stand with God.
3.Over busyness in life; inability to place your priority right; Matthew‬ 6:33‬; Bible says "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you". Let your schedule revolve around God.
4. A lack of understanding of lives purpose. 5.The lack of meditation on the word. When we think well, we live well.

👉Bible says: "Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation". Isaiah 12:3. 👉Joy is a doorway to potentials release.
👉Confidence affects competence, and excitement affects delivery.
👉You are at your best in the climate of excitement, and your worst comes out in the atmosphere of depression.
👉The climate of depression will not only cripple potentials but also kills before time.
👉Do not open the door of depression for the devil; People have died due to depression.
👉Guard your heart. Make the choice for joy and excitement. Avoid depression, anxiety and worry at all cost.
👉The wrong association strips you of power as a child of God. Association defines value and virtue in the life of a person.
👉The right association brings appreciation in value and virtue.
👉Whereas, the wrong association brings depreciation in value and virtue.
👉 If you carry power, you cannot afford the company of those who don't value power, otherwise they will dry you up.

SECRETS AND CHANNELS OF DIVINE HEALING.💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

The forgiveness of iniquities is connected to the healing of diseases. The Bible says:

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3John 2. The Scripture makes it abundantly clear that it is the perfect Will of God for His people to live in health.

There are Scriptural provisions for the healing and health of God’s people. However, many children of God are far from living in health.
And a major reason for this is that there is no divine provision in Scripture without a condition for man. When God gives a provision, it comes with conditions and those conditions in this context are the secrets and channels of divine health as follows:

👉The life of Uprightness.
The life of Uprightness is one secret of Divine health. Psalm 103:3 says: Bless the lord oh my soul and all that is within me bless his Holy name; who forgiveth all thy iniquity and health thy diseases. The forgiveness of iniquities is connected to the healing of diseases. So, iniquities in place make diseases un-healable.

👉A merry heart and praise-full life.
Proverbs 17:22 says: A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
If you are not happy, you cannot be healthy. There is something that is wrong with an unhappy person.

👉A steady diet of the word.
The Word of God is a supernatural capsule for divine health.
Psalm 107:20 says: He sent forth his word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction. Feeding on the word of God kills any trace of affliction in your life.

👉The right confession.
Death and life is in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Proverbs 12:18 says: There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.
So, there are people who pierce themselves with their words. But the tongue of the wise is health.

Beloved, make up your mind to live in good health by practicing the secrets stated above. Remember, the forgiveness of iniquities is connected to the healing of diseases. ゚viralシ

💗💗💗‭‭Overcoming by the word of our testimony. Revelation‬ ‭12:11‬ ‭"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death".We overcome by faithful commitment to God and by declaring His goodness in our lives. We are even willing to declare that we will not waver from our faith in Him during trials, tribulations or even in the face of death. Not only do our testimonies represent us coming to Christ, but they can also continue to bring others to Him when we share them. I want to encourage you to find hope from this passage. When we apply the blood of Lamb to our hearts and lives and commit to faithfully declaring God’s goodness to us, then we overcome!

Dear Lord, I come before you with a grateful heart, lifting up my family in prayer; thank you for the gift of family, for the bond of love and support that unite us.
I ask for your blessings upon my family both near and far and I pray for your divine presence to guides and protect each members always.

Lord strengthen the foundation of our family with your love; grant us unity and harmony that we may walk together in peace and understanding; help us to cultivate deep love, compassion and forgiveness for one another, cherishing the unique qualities that makes us a family, in Jesus name.

THE NEED FOR SELF DISCIPLINE 💗💗💗💗

‭‭1Corinthians‬ ‭9:24‭to27. The Bible says; Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training.They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize".

When the flesh is out of control, the future is also out of control. Lack of self- control made Reuben to sleep with his father’s wife and that made him totally useless in life.

Indiscipline or lack of self-control also made Esau to sell his birth right for a plate of food and that relegated him out of sight forever. Indiscipline or uncontrolled appetite made Esau to lose his destiny for a temporary thing.

On the other hand, discipline or the capacity to say “No” to the wrong thing made Joseph to stand out in life. In Genesis 39:9; he said “No” to Potiphar’s wife when she made immoral advances towards him.

The lifestyle of discipline made Daniel to stand out. In Daniel 1:8, he said “No” to the king’s food. One of the greatest strengths of anybody is the capacity to say “no” to the wrong things and maintain dignity.

The Bible says, "‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭24:10‬ ; If thou faint in the day of adversity, Thy strength is small". If battle overcome you as a child of God, it's because power is small; You need power as a child of God to win the battles of life. MEDITATE ON THE WORD DAY AND NIGHT
Meditating on the word will give you an understanding, a motivation and an inspiration to do what God wants you to do. Joshua‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success". ‭‭

Psalm‬ ‭1:1‭-‬6‬ ‭Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That bringeth forth his fruit in his season; His leaf also shall not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so: But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: But the way of the ungodly shall perish".

Psalm 1:1-6, further tells us the overwhelming blessings that obeying the word will produce in your life: you'll be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of life; never dry, never fainting, but ever blessed and unfinishing prosperous.

THE TRUE LIFE GIVING WORDS OF GOD

Matthew 11:28-30. The Bible says; "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light".
This is an invitation by the one and only Jesus. If you're tired and struggling, He can give you rest. This also describes the path to God the Father, but it is not one of labor and hard work; following Jesus frees us, from carrying the burden of our own sin, because he has carried it on the cross of Calvary. For, that reason, we are free the burdens of our sins because, Calvary carried it all! you owe the devil nothing.

HUSBANDS AND WIVES , STOP WASTING YOUR TIME PRAYING; DO THE RIGHT THING.

Benson and his wife don't sit next to each other during Church services. Even when going to Church services, they go in different vehicles; and when they travel in the same car, it is usually a very quiet and uncomfortable ride.

Benson sat at his usual spot in the Church service; the fourth line on the far left row. His wife sat on the center row.

The Pastor took to the podium.

Husbands, stop wasting your time praying the Pastor began.

The congregants got alarmed. No one expects to hear a Pastor saying prayer is a waste of time.

I am not here to discourage you to pray, but to encourage you to pray right.

Husbands, stop wasting your time praying if you are not treating your wives well. You come to church driving your expensive cars, giving your offerings and tithes, active in Church, some of you are Church leaders; but how are you treating your wife?

You may look good to us Church members, but it is your wife and children that know who you truly are" said the Pastor.

Benson turned to face his wife. She looked at him. Benson could see her eyes. Her left eye swollen from the blow he gave her last week when she confronted him about his alcoholism, po*******hy use and mischievous behavior.

People couldn't tell she had a black eye because of the make up she had on, so well done.

The Pastor continued, "People have perfected the art of cover up. Here in Church, so many are hurting but you wouldn't know.

People come here wearing their nice clothes, shiny smiles, they are active in ministry but hurting a lot in their marriage.

"We have become numb and plastic, brushing things under the carpet. But today we shall heal; and shall address those wounds we hide."

The Pastor cleared his throat and continued, "Many of those who are hurting their spouses are using the church to hide.

They think that because they give offerings and Tithes, because they make public prayers, because they read the Word or because they hold a Church leadership position that they are right with God. God is also interested in what you do in your marriage and in your family.

The Word says that when you treat your wife badly, it hinders your prayers. Men, you claim to be prayerful?

Hear this, "Your first ministry is your home. Stop trying to blackmail God with your service in Church yet you are mean and hurtful towards your spouse."

Many of the members of the congregation got restless and unsettled.

The Pastor continued, "Many of those who are being hurt by their spouse hide their pain and want to project an image that all is well to validate that they are blessed and in control. Some of you are active in Church to run away from the pain in your marriages".

The congregation was silent. Some straightening their ties, others fidgeting with their Bibles, adjusting their sitting position.

This Pastor was preaching truth and it was uncomfortable.

The Pastor continued, "The husbands are not the only ones guilty here... Wives, don't you know the Bible says when your husband found you he found good virtuous woman and you brought favour?

Then why are you the source of your husband's headache and stress? Have you been so toxic that you have turned your prayerful husband into a prayer-less one?

Do you make him regret marrying you because you bring more complications than he had before marrying you?

How you treat your husband can be a stumbling block in his walk with God or an environment that encourages growth.

Many of you wives married your individual husbands primarily because of their relationship with God, so why are you now destroying their relationship with God instead of celebrating and nurturing it?

Why are you being a burden to your husband emotionally, spiritually, socially, sexually and financially instead of being one who brings favour?"

Benson's wife looked at her husband. Benson looked at her, and she looked away.

The Pastor paused to drink his glass of water. And he continued, "When I am thirsty, I drink a glass of water.

When your spouse gets thirsty, will you allow God to use you to bless your spouse?

You've been told many sermons that focus on you as an individual, that God will make you prosper as an individual.

I am here to tell you your blessings are tied to people, you are blessed to be a blessing to others. Our God is not an individualistic God.

Your blessing is tied to your marriage, your family. It's not about you; it is about Jesus and Jesus is about love.

What good is it to prosper and be successful when you have no love? It is all vanity. God cares about your family, how you treat your spouse and children"

Silence. Silence. Silence...

"Yes, we pray. But what kind of prayers does your spouse pray because of you?

When your spouse prays, is it largely to cry to God because of the hurt you bring?

Is it to plead with God to change you from the monster you've become?

Is it to plead for grace to deal with how difficult you are? Or is to give thanks for you?"

Silence. Silence as grave yard

"Are you really prayerful? Do you really value prayer? What is prayer?

Then why is it that many of you find it easy to come to us pastors for us to pray with you as an individual, you find it is easy to pray in public, in a Church service or Bible study, but find it so hard to pray with your spouse?

Isn't that telling of what is going on in your marriage? Don't you know that the more you pray with your spouse the stronger your marriage will be?

But how can you find it easy to pray with a spouse you hurt or who hurts you?"

The Pastor paused and looked at the congregation. Eyes staring at him.

"I challenge you. I challenge you to pray with your spouse and to treat your spouse well. You must save your home, your marriage, your love!

Husbands, you are the head of the home. I challenge you to stand up and go to where your wife is and pray with her as a start of a more prayerful chapter in your marriage.

Don't do it because I asked you to but because you want to. Your choice"

One by one, the husbands present stood up.

Benson stood up too.

Benson walked to where his wife was. The face of Benson's wife overwhelmed with love, she looked on as her husband walked to her.

She almost stood up but he gave hand gestures at her to stay seated. Benson reached where she sat. Their eyes met.

Benson knelt down. He stared at her then kissed her swollen left eye. "I am sorry" he said.

"Can I pray with you?" He asked.

She got up from her seat and knelt down too. There, on the floor as the Church service was still ongoing, husbands prayed with their wives.

Benson prayed kneeling with his wife. They prayed for forgiveness, for thanksgiving, for love, for renewal, for peace, for direction; for their marriage. And their Marriages were healed.

THE AUSPICIOUS LIFE GIVING WORDS OF GOD

‭‭In the book of John‬ ‭1:1‭-‬17; The Bible says,"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
There was a man sent from God whose name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John testified concerning him. He cried out, saying, “This is the one I spoke about when I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ ”) Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.
For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ." The saviour of the world; He died on the cross of Calvary for you and me. Have you accepted him as your Lord and personal saviour? why not give him your life today, tomorrow may be too late. He's waiting for you.

DOES GOD THINK ABOUT ME?

The bible makes it clear that God has a plan for you. Before you were conceived in your mother’s womb, He had planned your life. Your journey or existence on earth was predetermined by God before you were born. God is mindful of you (Jeremiah 29:11). For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Now, due to the challenges or storms of life, you may be tempted to ask, “Does God know that I exist? Does He have any plan for my life? Is He aware of what I am passing through? Does He care about me at all? Does He think about me?” Beloved, God is mindful of you. He is thoughtful of you. God has a plan for every area of your life. He has a plan for your spiritual, martial, financial, academic, career and ministerial life. Knowing this will help you live a profitable and peaceful life on earth.

It is also important to understand that God’s plan for your life is not at the mercy of the plans of the devil against your life. The plans of God for your life predate the plans of the devil against your life. This means, the plan of God for your life is older than the plan of the devil against your life. So, if the devil came to attack you, he came too late because God had a plan for your life before the devil ever thought about you. The devil cannot corrupt what God has finished about your life.
Dear beloved, always remember that God is always thoughtful of you. This means, the plots of the enemy against your life are inconsequential. Remember this: God has a plan for every area of your life.

Lack of self- control made Reuben to sleep with his father’s wife and that made him totally useless in life. Indiscipline or lack of self-control also made Esau to sell his birth right for a plate of food and that relegated him out of sight forever.
