The podcast Martha hosted for Tate and her recent DJ set at the Saatchi Gallery inside their rave exhibition, Sweet Harmony, have cemented Martha’s affinity to art and sound. Also an accomplished radio producer and journalist, Martha hosts and produces Resident Advisor’s focal podcast The Hour, a series of documentaries and discussions exploring Electronic music culture. Within The Hour, Martha has covered an extensive range of topics including Techno Feminism, dance music trolls, the economics of electronic music. Martha regularly hosts panels and presents content for social media channels. Martha set up Tempo in 2018, a run club for South London's creatives. Tempo embodies Martha's relationship to music and sport; she is a long term collaborator of Nike. In 2019, Martha debuted her collaborative work with choreographers, Igor & Moreno in their piece, BEAT in which Martha soundtracks contemporary dance with a live DJ set. 2020 sees Martha fuse her passion for sport with her flair for storytelling and interviewing, as she joins the Sky Sports team in hosting Sidelines, a podcast that makes space for the stories surrounding sport and the people pushing the culture forward. In Sidelines so far, Martha has discussed performance anxiety with Anthony Joshua and the way periods are managed in the context of professional sport. Instagram:
