White Ball Productions was honored to welcome 99-year old WWII Veteran, Stanley A. Kubit, Jr. to our screening of Grandpa and Shorty at the Lindsay Theater (pictured here with Captain Sean Parnell).

Stanley served as an Electrician’s Mate (Power and Light) Second Class on the LCS(L)(3)-69 in the Pacific Theater from January 14, 1944 through July 13, 1946. He participated in the Battle of Okinawa, the Liberation of the Philippines, and was part of the occupation of Japan. In 1946, upon being honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy, he joined the U.S. Navy Reserves until he was again honorably discharged in 1954.
