Despite one nation being one of the most developed countries in the world and the other is still developing with ongoing problems, Singapore and Vietnam share one similarity as a melting pot of cultures 🇻🇳🇸🇬.
There are also distinct differences that I noticed and went into researching after my trip last year to Singapore, now all included in this video 👇(link in the comment section)

🇻🇳 Vietnamese Áo Dài is a modernized version of a traditional dress that dates back to the 18th century.
One trait that distinguishes it from other countries’ national costumes is that Áo Dài has two slits on the side, creating an extremely elegant and unique silhouette, while other dresses may have no slit or only one slit on the back or the front.

Following the two sisters Trưng Trắc and Trưng Nhị, Bà Triệu (Lady Triệu) is one of the most notable figures in Vietnam’s early history, who fought ferociously to win the Viet people’s independence back from the Chinese ruler. What she said already proved her unconventional mindset at the time, going against stereotypical beliefs in Vietnam that women were weak and only belonged to the household chores.

Apart from Sai Gon aka Ho Chi Minh city, Vung Tau city is the destination I’ve been to the most times within Vietnam. Mostly known and loved for its extensive beaches, the area is for me a superb area for mountain hiking, biking and walking with regard to its mountain peaks. 🦀 Seafood and local cuisines here are fantastic and diverse, people are generally friendly as well.
As a Vietnamese, I highly recommend Vung Tau to anyone who want to relax, recharge and reinvent in the knowledge of Vietnam. It takes about 2 hours driving from Ho Chi Minh which is a perfect spot you should add to your itinerary next time to☺️🌊🌅.

Do you know that the Vietnamese Women’s Day was first initiated in mass organizations in 1927, when women strived to affirm their role in the society. Then, on October 20 1930, the Vietnam Women’s Association (back then it was named the Vietnamese Anti-Imperial Women’s Association) was officially established, and the nation subsequently marked this event by using the same day to honor Vietnamese women every year.
The country of Vietnam has a lot of annual festivals and national holidays, each with its own unique meaning. But only since I started to create content about Vietnam culture on YouTube, I’ve came at awe with many fascinating facts about this vibrant S-shaped nation.
Anyway, I just want to say Happy Vietnamese Women’s Day! You’re all so amazing and I’m, too, as a women 🙂 I’ll keep posting more in-depth knowledge related to Vietnam and Asian values in the future, so follow me if you feel like so 💓
