Sorta Kinda Maybe Yeah is a female film collective based in London. It all started when Laura Kirwan-Ashman and Aya Arden-Clarke made a one minute funny film for the Met Film School Comedy Challenge. Their film, 'Procrasturbation', was shortlisted for the competition, and writer Laura won a two day intensive filmmaking course. The film was written, shot, and edited in a total of around five hours

and they thought, 'Why the hell aren't we doing this every weekend?'

Aya, Laura, and multi-hyphenate Charlotte Lowdell decided to found a female film collective in order to attract other female filmmakers looking to create work, practice and learn from each other, and gain confidence in a non-judgemental environment, and as a way to address the male dominance of the film and television industry
