Oak Park and River Forest High School used to have the fireworks on its field when it was grass. But since the school installed turf, it’s no longer a suitable space for fireworks.

Come to BATTLE OF THE BOTS on Saturday, Feb. 24th at Brooks Middle School 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM! Attending Battle of the Bots is a great opportunity for younger elementary students and incoming middle school students to learn and see first hand the vex robotics programs at the middle school. Over 30 teams from schools throughout the Chicago area will be competing in the final competition of the Chicagoland Vex League. The event is free and open to the public from 8am to 3pm, feel free to stop by any time during the day!
