A DIFFERENT KIND OF LITERARY MAGAZINE
Our mission is to challenge our writers to have the creative guts to write beautiful stories and poetry without vulgar or explicit language or content, while still keeping the integrity of their piece and voice of their characters. Here at The Wallflower Quarterly, we dare our writers to be different! We want to push writers to find another word, another phr
ase, and another way of stringing their vocabulary together so that their story can have an even greater impact and achieve a greater level of intelligent sophistication. We aim to publish pieces of writing that prove this is possible! The Wallflower Quarterly is seeking work that promotes positivity, inspires, or sends a hopeful message to humanity. We are interested in the dark stuff too. The reality of the fragile human condition is something in need of exploration and we need writers who can do this gracefully and with impact. In addition to our quarterly print magazine, we also publish fiction pieces online on a monthly basis. We are interested in all types of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry in any genre. We like things that are exceptionally different, odd, experimental, and weird. We also like the things that tug at the soul. Things that make you think and feel. Things that go deeper and explore wider meanings. Keep it clean, classy, and creative.
