I started Saamleng ten years ago with an album of recordings from Thailand, made during my first trip to Asia. Being exposed to this foreign soundscape was an ear-opening experience and I felt like I really had to do something with it! Record label seemed like a good option!
Just as a small celebration of this anniversary, let me present to you another part of recordings made ten years ago in Bangkok. I had quite unique opportunity to record one of the first days of Thai Political Crisis 2013-14.

The album is partly based on the well-received Snow and Trains EP but expanded significantly on previously released material. Like our entire catalog, we donate all revenues from this issue to support Ukraine.
