Akreta Saim Films is an independent production studio founded in 2011 by Akreta Saim. She is an Indian-Canadian film producer and director who has received international critical acclaim for her films. She graduated from York University, Canada with a BFA in Film Production. She has expanded her venture to India recently and has made several short films, documentaries, corporate films and music vi

deos. Akreta is an active part of the international film festival circuit and has had her films screened at Festival de Cannes and at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). She has been a jury member at the largest festival in North America for experimental and independent moving image culture, known as 'The Images Festival' in Canada. Her main inspiration comes from traveling and she has traversed the globe to make and screen her films.
