Great News! To support our mission of increasing high-quality academic and policy knowledge on Central Asia and promoting local scholarship, the Central Asia Program (CAP) at George Washington University invites the submission of articles on the following topics:

– Environmental Issues
– Rise of Conservative Values
– Populism and Protests
– Intergenerational Issues

The Central Asia Program focuses on the wider Central Asian space, which includes the five post-Soviet Central Asian states (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan), Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Xinjiang, and Mongolia, as well as the Volga-Ural region. We welcome papers focused on any of these regions from all disciplines in the social sciences and humanities backgrounds.
