This afternoon, the KSBG TV staff welcomed to the Sounds of the Season production set the San Benito High School Varsity Mixed Choir under the direction of Eradio Martinez, Director of Choirs for San Benito CISD. The Varsity Mixed Choir is the first group of many scheduled to participate in the 2023 “Sounds of the Season” video production. 🎥
The special holiday production will showcase the talents of performers, vocalists, and musicians from the elementary, middle school, and secondary levels. Nearly 40 choirs, bands, and special musical ensembles – such as the Mariachi Del Sol and the San Benito Middle Schools Orchestra – will participate this year. 🎶

Good morning, Greyhound fans! Our broadcast of today’s Regional Semifinal playoff game begins shortly before the 2:00 PM kickoff.

The Mighty Greyhounds will now go up against either the Austin Westlake Chaparrals or the New Braunfels Unicorns – depending on the outcome of their playoff matchup later tonight.

KSBG TV, the District's award-winning educational access television station, is currently working on a festive and traditional Christmas production – “Sounds of the Season 2022.” The show will feature a variety of fine arts groups, including bands and choirs from our elementary, middle school, and secondary campuses.
The San Benito High School Varsity Mixed Choir, under the leadership of Director of Choirs Eradio Martinez, was the first of approximately 34 groups that will participate in this year's production.

KSBG TV is currently airing the 2021 “Sounds of the Season” video production that creatively features a total of 37 different choirs, bands, and special musical or dance ensembles – such as the Greyhound Orchestra and San Benito High School Mariachi Del Sol.
The “Christmas Spirit” themed production will be available online during the Christmas and New Year holidays for the community to enjoy their favorite Christmas tunes.

KSBG TV 17
Award-winning KSBG TV 17 is the educational access television station for the San Benito Consolidated Independent School District. The station officially went "on-the-air" November 2, 1998, via Time Warner Communication's Cable System. KSBG has evolved with the times, as is now available through the web and mobile devices with video on demand (VOD).
The station provides district news and information, highlights student achievement, educational and instructional programs, staff development, and provides entertainment programs to members of the San Benito community. We encourage everyone to tune-in to our educational television station to see what's happening in the San Benito schools and in the community.
KSBG airs programs that are produced locally. These programs feature information from the various programs provided to students, individual campus highlights and video news releases of activities and events. We also cover special events like the District Spelling Bee, sporting events, Board of Trustees Meetings, Band and Choir Concerts, Mariachi presentations, graduation, to name a few! Choral and/or band concerts, sporting events and various conference and meetings are presented according to season.
KSBG's responsibilities extend beyond the television station and studio to include support services for many special activities within the district. Special video presentations at SBCISD functions, coordinating events with school and district administrators, and providing video service requests, are all part of KSBG's job description.
Combining all it's resources to provide instruction, information, and support services to the San Benito CISD and its home community, is the focus of its mandate.
