With all your years building skills and experience do you still feel like a round peg in a square hole? I wasn't born with a silver spoon and I didn't attend college. Actually, I was a teen mom and within a few short years I became a single mom so I was the sole bread winner for myself and the better part of my young son's growing up years yet something inside me kept us on a steady path toward su

ccess. Don't get me wrong I made plenty of mistakes; spent my money unwisely, chose the wrong type of partners, and tried a few different jobs but with every twist and turn we faced I always looked for the best option for me and my son. I was blessed to have been referred by a good friend and started my career in Customer Service/Sales as a Customer Service Rep for the phone company. That first good job helped me buy my first home, a brand new Chevy S10 pickup and raise my boy on an acre of land surrounded by trees so he could enjoy the freedoms and safety of the country life. After 12 years I was downsized from my good job and proceeded to change companies about every 2-5 years growing with each new position. 30 yrs later I was downsized 1 last time and left as basically department and building manager with a telecom company. Nobody questions a person moving from corporate job to corporate job. In 2013 I began my journey as a "Home Based Business Owner". Since then I have had to do the same thing to find my "Fit". Started with a Health & Wellness company that I had already experienced success in a couple of years previously. Then I got glamoured into another company that ruined my reputation by teaching "Drip on em till they join you or block you". I gained a bunch of friends and lost just as many of my good friends with that "coaching". After trying 3 more companies I just never felt at home. I was the round peg in the square hole. But I always keep my eyes and ears open. One day I brought a WINE biz to my husband. He said, "Well, WE drink wine. Our friends drink wine. Tons of people drink wine. I think we found our home!"

You see, it has to fit you and you have to fit within it to be successful. it comes down to "The Combo". Have you found your combo? My goal is to take away any negative comments or thoughts about the journey you have walked. I want to elevate you and your sense of yourself so that you FIND YOUR FIT . There truly is a fit for you and "IT'S ALL ABOUT THE COMBO!"

My Story

With all your years building skills and experience do you still feel like a round peg in a square hole? (there are no squares here :) So have I ! My story is like many women. I wasn't born with a silver spoon and I didn't attend college. Actually, I was a teen mom and within a few short years I became a single mom so I was the sole bread winner for myself and the better part of my young son's growing up years yet something inside me kept us on a steady path toward success. Life was good!

Somehow I allowed myself to get "glamoured" to another company and then another and then another. Needless to say I became disenchanted and lost my passion.

So I decided to take a hiatus from face to face networking and my leadership role at Professional Connections to re-evaluate the steps I had take‍️n, learn new skill sets, and re-ignite with my passions.

After awhile a little voice started asking me, “Why do you keep looking when you had it in your hands to begin with?” “What’s wrong with going back to where you started?”After much soul searching and hard work it only made sense to, what I call "return to my roots".
