Incredibly humbled by this award from Imagine Rain Independent Film Awards for our short film, "What's Next For Me?"

This film means so much to me because it came at a time when I was at my lowest. After several years of being told that...

I wasn't good enough,
my creative vision wasn't worthwhile,
I should just give up...

I decided to make this project come to life. Along the way, I found an amazing, intelligent, talented, and supportive team. This team is made of other strong female creatives, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and allies.

It’s Mental Health Awareness Month, and I have such mixed positive feelings about this announcement.

My original short film “What’s Next For Me?” will be released later this year. This project started out as a diary entry that I wrote when I was in a place of darkness and uncertainty. I’ve held onto this project for a number of years working up the courage to release it... to allow the person I was 6 years ago to finally heal. Now, it’s time.

Thank you to my creative partners and friends for helping me create a safe space on and off set and believing in this project. Thank you for also believing in me.
