The School of Multimedia Arts holds its first multimedia arts festival for all the students of Asia Pacific College. This encourages all the students, even the non-art students, to develop their love for film, animation, game, digital illustration, painting, and photography. This also allows the students to explore more what art is all about. More than this, this art feast endorses creativity, har
mony, and camaraderie among the student body and the entire school community through different forms of art. This is Art Defiance: SoMA Awards 2014. CATEGORIES

RULES and REGULATIONS:
1. The artist/owner of an entry must be a student of Asia Pacific College.
2. The entry must not have joined any previous SOMA Awards Competition.
3. A participant can join one of more categories and can submit as many entries as possible.
4. An entry can only be submitted under one category.
5. No time limit on your film and animation.
6. An entry with a mixture of animation media can only be submitted under one category.
7. Digital Art should be printed on an A3 sized paper.
8. Paintings should be on an 18"X24" canvas.
9. Photographs should be printed on 8x10 photo paper either glossy or matte.
10. Any entry not following the rules and regulations shall be disqualified. Submit 2 copies of your film and/or animation entries in DVD, AVI or MP4 format (labeled with Title of Work and Name of Director) along with the application form. Place all of them inside a short brown envelope and hand them over on or before March 14, 2014 at the APC Center.
2. Submit your illustrations (digital art and/or painting) and/or photographs along with the application form on or before March 14, 2014, at the APC Center.
3. Submission of games in a compact disc or a flash drive (labeled with Title of Game and the name of Game Developer) along with the application form. Place all of them inside a short brown envelope and hand them over on or before March 14, 2014 at the APC Center.
4. All submissions will be subject to a preliminary 3-Member Jury (appointed by the SoMA Awards Committee and the SoMA Director).
5. All final awards will be decided upon by a 3-Member Board of Jury.
6. Decisions of the Board of Jury are final and not subject to appeal or protest.
7. Special Awards may be created by the jury subject to approval of the SOMA Film Festival committee and SOMA Director. AWARDS and PRIZES
