Recognising the editorial restrictions of established violin-related magazines, the ethic of this magazine is to provide unrestricted publishing space for articles about musical instruments, musicianship and their history. olute discretion, but aim to give authors the maximum autonomy possible for their scholarship. Violins and Violinists was originally an American periodical that ran for a few years in the 1940s. We liked the name and thought it was worth reviving it.
