We believe that too many great writers find themselves at a crossroads – unable to secure an agent or traditional publisher, yet unsure how to navigate a confusing self-publishing landscape. For this reason, lots of great books get stuck in a drawer, never to see the light of day. Since 2000, Ann and Matt have provided editing
, graphic design and web development services to solopreneurs and small businesses. We've also done our fair share of copyediting, ghostwriting, and book layout and design. In 2013, Ann wrote and published Selling with Stories: How to Attract Your Ideal Client with Words and Pictures. The process of writing that book helped us develop a framework for integrating storytelling into our client work. It also helped us attract many new clients to our marketing and web development business. In 2016, we felt inspired to create a children’s book series. Bean in the Garden has blossomed into a delightful, light-hearted picture book and video series aimed at teaching preschoolers how to be brave and kind in everyday life. We learned a lot from publishing Selling with Stories and Bean in the Garden. We tried things, made mistakes, asked for advice, and tried again. Before long, we were the ones who were giving advice to other authors. Your book is powerful. It could even change lives. It deserves to be read and appreciated.
