Our Story

SPMedia, formerly known as S.E.A.G. Productions', is a media productions entity that dealt in an array of video & photography oriented services. Their range of video oriented services included: • Advertising, Infomercials & Documentaries; • Live stream Consulting, Broadcasting and Management; • Video and Audio Technology Procurement They have since moved on from a few of the services offered and are mainly focusing on Video and Audio Technology procurement and livestream consulting.

***History*** 2011 - Caribbean Motor Racing: In the year 2011, SP Media as S.E.A.G. Productions’ was contracted to cover the Caribbean Motor Racing Championship (CMRC) Finals held in Guyana and hosted by the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMR&SC) via their Live stream Services. Since then they have been covering these events as well as the GMR&SC’s ‘Race of Champions’ Series as they are held during the course of the year. They have also been utilising the coverage of this and other events held by the GMR&SC and made available DVDs and videos through outlets online to local and foreign fans of the series. 2012 – Advertising: SP Media as S.E.A.G. Productions’ made its debut onto the advertising scene with DKG Inc.’s launch of ‘Elite Crete - Guyana’ brand of floor finishes and then into the ecommerce category with its ShopCaricom.com website. The ShopCaricom.com minute long advertisement was then used in DKG Inc.’s submission to the 2013 World Summit Awards to showcase the website and its features before a sanctioned jury comprising of delegates from around the world; 2013 - Live stream: In 2013 SPMedia as S.E.A.G. Productions' were approached by the National Assembly of the Parliament of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana to procure and install a Livestream System to broadcast the sittings of the National Assembly via the world wide web. This was done in part of their bid to make the business of Parliament a transparent one. The project was completed in July of 2014 and was put to use publicly for the first time in the Secondary School Debate of the Commonwealth Youth Parliament in May of 2015 which showcased a gathering of many top students from schools around the country. This was a test bed for the streaming of the convening of the Eleventh Parliament scheduled a few months later and everything went as planned. The system has been in use for sittings since. SPMedia also works on many other projects on it's own with hope of attracting more clients and becoming better at what they do; practice does make perfect. Their main aim is to become the leading professional media productions company within the country of strict roots from their motor racing culture.
