I prayed the Rosary today, I prayed for the intercession of Saint Francis Xavier Cabrini, I worked out, and I did yard work for my cardio—I feel good.

I ask Jesus to guide me.

I'm making a concerted effort to reclaim my health and vitality.

I'm starting with 6 weeks of home workouts and light cardio before transitioning to the gym. I know my brain well enough to know that a slow cure is the best cure.

I'm keeping the diet approach simple: no junk/ultra-processed foods, save for one cheat meal per week, and counting calories. Once I'm feeling comfortable and lifting heavier in the gym again, I'll focus more on my macronutrient profile.

I know 197 lbs may not seem “overweight,” but I have a fairly small frame. Before I committed to destroying my body with junk foods and booze my average weight was 150 lbs.

I'm not going to focus too much on weight as I'm sure my body will undergo recomposition as the months go on, but man, I’d sure like to have a 29-inch waist again and not feel like I'm spilling out of my clothes.

I was a Freemason - Master Mason in Blue Lodge and 9th Degree in the Royal Arch. This was before I knew better - before I understood the psychological and spiritual implications and their consequences.

I joined in the wake of my divorce. It was a tough time for me, and I was hungry to be a part of something meaningful. At the time, the local Masonic lodge was the only place where other men my age gathered communally. It was a very rural and small community. We had a Food Lion, a community hospital, a pizzeria, and the Castle Rock Masonic Lodge. I gained entry through the sponsorship of an associate from work.

Aside from rituals, catechisms, and ceremonies (all of which are imbued with demonic incantation), it was just a bunch of incel types trying to suss out a modicum of power and influence for themselves through Masonic connections.

Perhaps at a later time, I will speak more about my time in the Masons, but trust me, none of these esoteric orders amount to the bliss experienced when you receive the experiential love of Jesus Christ.
