Role Overview:
As a WordPress Wizard, you'll be conjuring up captivating websites faster than Hermione can say "Wingardium Leviosa." Your spellbook will include PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript incantations, allowing you to craft responsive, pixel-perfect websites that leave clients spellbound.
Responsibilities:
- Brew enchanting themes and plugins that transform design mockups into living, breathing websites.
- Wave your wand (erm, code) to troubleshoot and debug issues faster than Harry Potter escapes a close call.
- Collaborate with our team of sorcerers (designers, content creators, and fellow developers) to create magical user experiences.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest wizardry (ahem, WordPress) updates and trends to ensure our spells are cutting-edge.
Requirements:
- Mastery of WordPress enchantments (custom theme development, plugin customization, and wizard-like knowledge of WordPress architecture).
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript mystical arts.
- Experience brewing potions (integrations) with third-party APIs and tools.
- Ability to translate Muggle-speak (client requirements) into magical code effortlessly.
- A portfolio that showcases your most impressive spells (previous WordPress projects).
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with eCommerce spells (WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.).
- Experience riding the broomstick (working with hosting platforms like AWS, Azure, or similar cloud services).
- Knowledge of SEO enchantments to ensure our websites are always visible to mortals (search engines).
