I’m so thrilled you found Miss City Discovers! I’m beginning my Junior year at NYU this September. Last year, I interned at Cosmopolitan Magazine for 9 months, and really fell in love with the print journalism world, fashion and everything to do with entertainment media! I initially began this blog for my exceptional and unconditionally-loving Boxer, Luke, who passed in February of 2013. While we
go on this adventure through the city and on our couches at home, I want to create unforgettable experiences. We are going to do it all. Dining out at cool-concept restaurants, seeing all the Oscar-nominated shorts in a row at the IFC Center in the village, squeezing our way into the hottest New York Fashion Week Shows, reading the best new thrillers on the market, cooking things we never thought we could, all while treating our bodies well with out of the box workouts and nourishing green juices. I want to keep Luke’s mentality of living in the moment, acknowledging all of the people who surround us, and keeping a more-than-positive outlook through it all.
