DJ Marcon & The Palos Santos, the Afro-beat band from Bulgaria, we are proud to have them back with their brand new song Idu Idu Dama. The song features lyrics performed by the new band member and uprising Senegalese vocalist Ousmane Diallo.
Idu Idu Dama begins with a mesmerising guitar melody theme and continues with a deep african feeling, warm keys and an impressive sax section plus those wonderful vocals from Ousmane. Everything is cooked with a laidback afrobeat rhythm that gives an original downtempo vibe to the song's arrangement.
Ilko along with his bass player Wah Tony, takes over with a remix treatment over the song and he provides a fantastic electronic downtempo groove with a slow-mo and four on the floor concept that transforms the original song into a warm balearic afro style groove.

His latest offering, 'The Rebirth', opens with classical strings and piano before a burst of static ushers in a Daft Punk-ish disco guitar groove topped with what may or may not be a talkbox'd one-line vocal. Remix-wise, Timewarp Inc beefs things up somewhat for the soulful house floors, Gogi Berry opts for a slightly more organic feel while Mazard Record ups the tempo several notches, but the overall "good time summer groove" vibe remains intact throughout.
