Seattle’s psychedelic folk rock band and the label’s flagship artist, Forest Ray, will be peforming tonight at 9pm!

Described as or “Spaced out, down to earth Brit-pop gone country” or more comically as “George Harrison and Tame Impala taking mushrooms with Willie Nelson”, Seattle folk rock group maintains their consistent touring and recording schedule.

They released their fifth full length album, Windf**ker (Jebivjetar) following a five week European tour in early fall, the new album spans folky 80’s Dylan and George Harrison inspired tunes with harmonica and synth, more driving 60s psychedelic and twangy sing alongs. After February’s they will be hitting the road again next month all around the western US! Check out for the full tour schedule!

Very thrilled to have The Blank Tapes on both Friday and Saturday of this year! , led by Southern California artist Matt Adams, are legendary and loved by many in rock n’ roll circles from Los Angeles to Seattle all the way to Dresden and beyond. Matt’s made a name for himself over twenty years of relentless touring and playing, as well playing with other highly acclaimed bands such as

Most folks who have played in bands with Matt or with his groups will tell you what about the mystery of his underrated genius. A virtuosic guitar player, recording engineer, prolific songwriter, and an incredible visual artist, that couldn’t be a more humble and friendly person.

His tunes are memorable and catchy, and his guitar playing a testament to his countless years of dedication to his craft. Not only a friend to many of us, but also an inspiration. He personally has helped us many times on tour in countless ways and it is quite an honor to have him be a part of this event. He also designed co-presenter ‘s logo , as well as so many concert posters and album covers that you have surely seen, whether or not you know it.

So excited to have kicking off this Friday, February 16th!!

Forest Ray Records was lucky enough to work with them last year to record their new LP, and we are very excited to hear its release soon! This Everett based band is a staple of the Snohomish county scene and they bring a lot of new life to classic sounds with unique harmonies and twangy guitars. You don’t wanna miss them this Friday at .

The union of Robert Lund and Marcus Chavez’s groovy rhythm section under Trevor Fett’s prominent guitar makes them reminiscent of the Stones and late 60’s Fugs, but Tess Tasakos’ strong vocals and harmonies with heavily keyboard led moments help them break away from what you’d expect from your typical rock n roll quartet and make them even more memorable. All of their rock solid musical elements, impressive playing and local references in their lyrics make them a sonic treat for any Washington native or fan of 60’s and 70’s rock and roll. Cannot wait to have these folks grace the stage on Friday, February 16th!

, the moniker of James Booker, professional musician, multi instrumentalist and touring band veteran who’s made appearances in Pitch Perfect 3, will be gracing the FRyFest at on Saturday, February 17th. A banjo virtuoso in his former band; Whiskey Shivers, James’ newer project is a culmination of his synth pop and new wave daydreams that has landed him on NPR, KEXP airwaves and has received critical acclaim from legendary DJ Marco Collins. Possibly the furthest venture outside of the psych and indie twang landscape, but one of the artists we are so thrilled to have involved on this event, and we are certain you will enjoy it.

This year we are very excited to have Portland, Oregon based MØTRIK headlining the fest on Friday February 16th, currently described as America’s best Kraut-rock band, they bring energetic, spacey amplifier worshipping jams set to relentless motorik beats, and have audiences all around the Western US talking about their recent shows. After seeing them at in Reno, NV we knew they were a perfect fit for the festival. Their live shows are explosive and unforgettable and will send everyone home from Day 1 with an oscillating drone in their brain. Thanks to booking for helping bring them to the event!

Spokane’s favorite slacker rock meets 70s rock gems and Forest Ray Records staple, Pit, will be back at this year. An impressive cohort of true companions, Spokane’s Pit is songwriter Ben Jennings accompanied by Missoula bred drummer and songwriter Sam Bolt and the inimitable Spokane wrecking crew of Adam and Alex Smith on bass and lead guitar

Something like Pavement meets Neil Young or a twisted Joe Walsh. (See ILBTs) Pit’s every bit as original as they are unforgettable. Forest Ray Records had the pleasure of recording and producing their album, Golden Pastures, which still remains one of our favorite releases of the last ten years. Couldn’t be more thrilled have this crew back for a little taste of the Northwest’s inland empire right here in Seattle. Don’t miss them on Saturday, February 17th

Led by Jonas Haskins (a member of Sera Cahoone, & Earth), Low Hums has been a Seattle psych staple for more than a decade. We are stoked to have them gracing the stage at Belltown Yacht Club for 2024’s FRyFest.

Low Hums recently released a killer single, “Sister and Brothers” via the KEXP airwaves, and they just opened 2 nights for legendary band Dinosaur Jr.

Jeshua was added last minute and we couldn’t be more stoked, Jeshua is known from his solo project and his phenomenal bass playing in as well as being a long standing fixture in the Bend, Oregon music scene! Fans of acoustic music and folk rock, you don’t wanna miss it!

We are very excited to announce that one of our favorite Seattle songwriters (Sam Peterson) will be performing at on Saturday, February 25th! You may recognize Sam from guitar slinging with or from seeing one of their enchanting acoustic sets. Sam’s melodic sensibilities and mellow fingerpicking help craft his masterful tunes, and we couldn’t think of a better way to open up the show on Saturday! Wowow we are so excited to have our great friend rocking their set !

Founded in 2019 by Seattle rock musician (Diesto, Forest Ray, Sunset Grooves, many more) and music educator Eric Junge, Dream Commander is an explorative electronic odyssey with modern and classic influences alike. His latest EP Worldbuilder "is full of unique, intriguingly interwoven synth tones, timbres and textures. It explores varied moods, emotions and images through ear-catching soundscapes as it unfolds."

It’s really going to be an amazing experience to be drowned in Dream Commanders ethereal soundscapes and textures that will tickle the ears of any true synth heads and electronic music lovers, you won’t want to miss this one!! 2nd artist on Saturday night!

Can’t wait for these folks at ! If you’ve been around the Seattle music scene for any time at all you’d probably recognize these faces. Truly one Seattle‘s finest groups! This Saturday we can’t wait to welcome to our friends, , Chris King and The Gutterballs! Self described as garage twang, the complexities in the Gutterballs sound are hard to describe without spending an evening listening to their Sophomore album Painwaves, being moved by their lyrics, or seeing them at one of their infectious shows, the uniquely West Coast twang, with the energy of a rock n’ roll power trio make the Gutterballs one of most loved bands in the scene. They dominate the stage with stellar harmonies and a heavy dose 70s rock nostalgia that will catapult you to a time where folks only wanted to have a good time. If you know me, then you probably know about - they are Forest Ray’s Spokane family.

A musical union of incredibly talented and sweet friends. Pit is Ben Jennings, Alex and Adam Smith and Sam Bolt. This crew is one of the most authentic and cathartic indie rock performances I’ve ever experienced. Recording with them was such a treat. When these guys play you feel it in your spine, Ben’s vocal performances are so powerful and genuine and the recordings we did together are still some of my favorite songs. One of the most memorable recording weekends ever. Especially thanks to the blood harmonies of Spokane wrecking crew, Brothers Alex and Adam Smith and Adam and Sam’s rock solid rhythm section.

You may recognize the drummer, Sam, from many shows on stage with Forest Ray displaying his ultimate percussion prowess with Tambourine, shaker, cabasa, vibraslap. Seriously, if you haven’t had a beer with Pit or seen one of their shows you’re missing a genuinely altering human experience.

So we’re bring them back this year, don’t miss on Saturday, FEBRUARY 25th! At the FRyFest !!

So excited to have on the FRyFest this year! Lemon Boy is a Seattle punk/riot grrrl trio made up of friends Nicole Giusti, Yasmin Ahsani and and Myriah Hernandez-Charbeneau. They created a lot of buzz around Western Washington with their debut recordings, bringing new life to classic sounds. Go check out their last four singles, with mesmerizing melodies and a sweetness that is sure to satisfy any fans of the Breeders / Bikini Kill. Don’t miss it!
