When the world loses someone like Kevin Doyle (and there's never before been a someone quite like Kevin Doyle) the sudden absence of joy in the atmosphere is immediate, overwhelming, and palpable.

Though we can never replace him, I feel we owe it to Kevin, and to the future generations who never got to know the man personally, to do what we can in the here and now to deliberately add as much extra joy to the world as we possibly can. Be extra kind, patient, loving, and understanding with one another - all day, everyday, for the duration of our time together which, as we've just learned, is not nearly long enough.

I can't think of a better way to honour the legacy of such a man as Kevin Doyle.

Hey, Gang!

A lovely family I know has been undergoing some debilitating health issues and the truly overwhelming financial strain that has accompanied them. It's been a massive struggle but, in their last update, it appears that the worst may finally be behind them!

The road to recovery has been a long and costly one. Nevertheless, I've just learned that they're now just over 60% toward their goal of $25,000 and, with luck (and a few more donations) they'll reach that goal soon!

I've posted Mike and Rebecca's GoFundMe page which links to a full breakdown of their story. Anyone with a few moments (and a few dollars) is encouraged to pay it a visit. If it is in within your means, I've been assured that every little bit helps!

They're a hardworking and loving family and I sincerely thank you for reading this far (as I'm sure they do).
