After eating my way through every single country in the world, I've made the ultimate food list. Here are my Top 10 BEST countries for Food Lovers!
TRAVEL TIP # 5 - Compare Group Tours to find the best fit for you.
It can be a challenging (and time consuming) task trying to decide which Group Tour is the best one for you, as there are hundreds of tour operaters out there.
Things to Consider:
👉Age Limit - You may prefer to travel with others that are similar age. It's worth checking if the company has an average age range of passengers. Some tour companies are open-aged, some are 18-39 yr old, some attract passengers aged 60+ and some attract solo travellers.
👉 Pace - Is the tour itinerary marketed as fast paced (includes LOTS of cities/sites in a day), slow paced and spend more time on the coach/van/overland truck/public transport, or is it super active (hiking, lots of walking included).
👉 Size - Some people prefer small-group tours (max 12-16 passengers) and others prefer a tour with up to 40+ passengers. We're all different, and that's OK.
👉 Comfort Level - Read about what standard of accommodation is included in your tour to meet expectations. This can often be found in the detailed tour information online, so it's worth checking it out.
👉 Are optional activities included? - This can drastically change the overall cost of a group tour. Some tour providers include most optional activities and others hide the extra cost in the small print, and you find that out once you start the tour. Again, it's important to read about the tour you're signing up for before you book it.
👉 Are most meals included? - Depending on the destination, this can also add considerable cost to your trip. Check the trip notes, included meals are listed there.
