If there was ever a rant of mine to read completely it's this one...

Have you heard this new song "Rich Men North of Richmond"?

The song starts off about the plight of the working class and how the Rich men north of Richmond are the cause of that. It sounds like just your normal protest song against those that run the country in D.C. and the rich in general. But then unfortunately Oliver Anthony decides to load a gun and takes aim it at the poor in the second verse and fires.

I have never had a song bother me to this point. I've never had an artist that seemed almost get it. That he almost understands that the working class and poor are all in this together and in general is corrupt politicians and greedy corporations that are holding everyone else in this country back.

But sadly he doesn't get it. Sadly, the singer believes if you're on welfare you must be 300 lb toting a bag of fudge rounds.

I'm not here to drag the guy himself, But I hope you will find it in himself to learn that it's not the poor people needing help on welfare that's stealing his paycheck It's the corporations, it's D.C., not the poor. Punching down is never the solution.

When I first came across Oliver Anthony and his music, I was blown away to say the least. He had a whole collection of songs that I could listen to for hour...

Biden vowed to raise taxes on megacorps, promised to expand Medicare, said he'd push for equality for the Trans community.
Now he's is not going raise taxes on megacorps, might be going to refuse to expand Medicare to include vision and dental. Where he has paid lip service to the trans community over passports, he's done nothing to protect trans youth in the states.
Mr. Biden, you have been a coward you won't stand up for the poor, elder, disabled, or trans communities. If this continues I'll help ensure you're a 1 term president when I vote in 2024.
