Right now! 18 inches and still puking. Most of the PNW is getting clobbered with this initial surge with mire to follow. Hats off to ski patrol for popping all lifts including the backside and DD on time. Operational success!

Moisture Train incoming! Up to 4-5 inches of water in the far west (BC-PNW). Sierra scores cold storm Xmas Eve. Santa then moves east to the Rockies. The PNW and western Canada start warm and transition to a cooler pattern mid to late week. Upper elevations in some northern areas of the PNW or western BC could nab 3-4 feet. Right now! 20 inches in 48 hours at We sampled the goods at today and can testify that conditions are rapidly "game on" top to bottom. The last 2 storms have really brought the Tetons back to life.
