Web Comics feature the creative comic styling of Emerald Sands, also known as Lady E. Her comics center around Bahamian life and culture in various ways, most of them comedic in nature. But also covering fantasy and drama. Her works are relatable to both Bahamians and international readers, who are also able to enjoy while learning a bit about Bahamian culture. Emerald draws, inks and scripts her

Hello all! I am back and with the first drawing of the year (i had this on the back burnerfor a while). I wanted to put the duo in a situation that shows how dangerous it could be as the chosen hero. One wrong move and not only is her life in danger but Kailik's as well, and as powerful as he may be, he is still able to get injured, by other, other worldly beings. I also wanted to work on my lighting and photoshop skills...what do you guys think

This is how Guanema sees Kailik, not as a child but HER child. Kailik's creation was very much different from his other siblings and under completely different circumstances. This doesn't mean she doesn't care about the other guardians, she just holds Kailik a little closer because of how he came to be. This is a very late mother's day illustration, so I thought why not go with Guanema since she is technically Kailik's mother figure.
