The police have arrested a young man riding a scooter carrying 52 liters of illicit liquor near Bichhiya location. Acting on information from an informant, the police apprehended a car near the Bichhiya hospital, containing a large quantity of liquor along with the scooter. The City Kotwali Police conducted a raid based on the information provided by senior officials, and further investigation may lead to action against the liquor contractor. During the initial probe, it was discovered that the liquor was stored in a shop located at S.A.F. Chowk, owned by the liquor contractor. The police are also investigating the involvement of the contractor's associates. The accused Shubham Tiwari has been arrested, while Aman Kushwaha, a resident of Pandey Tola, managed to flee the scene and is currently being pursued by the police. This operation by the police falls under Section 34/2 of the Excise Act.

Headline: Police seize narcotic cough syrup worth 1 crore and arrest 7 smugglers
Anchor: The police have achieved a major success by apprehending a large consignment of narcotic cough syrup in the district. Along with it, 6 suspects, including a woman, have been arrested. The police are now investigating the network of drug traffickers and identifying their connections.
V.O: The information about the narcotic cough syrup in Tamaha village under the Managwan police station area was provided to the police by an informant. Following this, a team comprising of SP Vivek Singh from Reeva, SDOP Umesh Prajapati from Sirmour, and officers from three police stations was formed to carry out this significant operation. Revealing the details, the police stated that they received information that a large consignment of Correx cough syrup from Allahabad was being brought to the Managwan area in a container. Based on this input, a team from the Managwan police station and the Cyber Cell conducted a raid near Kunia Nala, Managwan area, where they seized a container, a tractor, a Bolero vehicle, and a total of 7680 bottles of Correx cough syrup (64 crates). Additionally, 6 suspects were arrested at the scene, and action is being taken under the NDPS Act. The police also carried out an operation at the delivery location provided by the smugglers, where they seized more Correx cough syrup and arrested a female suspect. In total, the police have confiscated narcotics worth 1 crore rupees during this operation.

Before the assembly elections in Rewa, the Congress party has suffered a major setback. Rishikesh Tripathi (Swatantra Sharma), a Congress Nagar Nigam ward councilor and MLC member, has resigned from the party's primary membership. He sent his resignation via mobile to Pratap Bhanu Sharma, the Rewa in-charge, and district president Rajendra Sharma. They are considered close to the senior Congress leader and former MP Late Sundarlal Tiwari. In his resignation letter, he wrote that he did not do this for any personal gain. He will not stay in a party where there is no value and assessment of struggles. He clarified that he is not a Congress leader but a worker. After the councilor's resignation, there was a buzz in the party. Swatantra Sharma has been a party member for a long time and has worked for the party in various positions, creating a separate identity. He mentioned that Siddharth Tiwari had asked him to prepare for the assembly elections, but now he is being told to focus on the Gudh constituency. He said that the party is being influenced by a few people, and therefore, the neglect of old and dedicated workers is happening. Up until now, the resignation has not been accepted.
Regarding the councilor's resignation, District President of Congress, Rajendra Sharma, said that he has not received the resignation. Resignation is not recognized on social media platforms. The reason behind his decision will be discussed with him. He is an old worker and emotionally connected to the party. Since the ticket distribution has not taken place yet, there is no question of ticket dissatisfaction. If party workers have respect in any party, it is the Congress party.
