KARMA

Chapter 5
I came down to the dinning room, good thing the damsel was still there and was going to join us for breakfast. We all sat down, mum said grace and we all chorused amen at the end, Mike my dear mom continued, meet Amaka, she's the first daughter to one of my closest friend here in the village, she always comes around to help me out with chores since i refuse to get a made. Ooh I see, I actually saw her in the kitchen when I was looking for you, i must confess she's really beautiful and hardworking I said while staring at her, and well trained too, my dad added. Amaka just smiled, I needed no one else to tell me that my parents have already chosen a wife for me and honestly speaking, it was a very good choice, they knew my taste.
After breakfast, my parents skillfully left the both of us together on the dinning table and we got to talk, I then discovered that not only was Amaka beautiful, she was also intelligent, damn... beauty with brains. Amaka was a total package, more than I had expected to get and there was no use wasting time, I immediately asked her out after we've met a few more times and she agreed.
I met her parents and siblings who weren't strangers to my family due to my mom's friendship with their mother and soon enough, we got married. It was a very big wedding and other girls couldn't help but envy Amaka. After the wedding was done, we stayed a few more days in the village before leaving for my house in the city which would now be called our home.
Everything was great for me, business was was booming, Amaka was a complete wife, seems she was good luck too, things became better immediately she came and I was the happiest man on earth.

FIVE YEARS LATER
Things were really great for me, my business grew spontaneously over the past years, I had a very submissive and supportive wife, marriage was sweet, you could say life was really being good to me until one evening....

Don't worry he will lovebeat😂 u to death one day and still come to ur funeral and drink kunu

Dr ladies, never be so desperate for a relationship to an extent that u endure abuse, be it physical, verbal, emotional or abuse of any form, d day a guy raises his hand on u, my sister end it, there's nothing like u made him angry, no amount of anger should make a guy hit a lady, girl u are like a precious stone that needs to be handled with care, carry urself like that nd never, I repeat never let urself to be abused!

Chapter 4
The village was really doing my dad a lot of good, he is fresher and very vibrant even at his early sixties. Mom too, I wondered how she manages to keep the whole house clean and arranged without a house help, but I didn't had to wonder about that for too long as the answer came almost immediately.
I checked my phone, it was five minutes to seven, still very early I thought, but I could hear noises coming from outside, my parents were already awake and were busy doing choirs, I would have loved to still sleep a little maybe two hours more but it wouldn't be appropriate to be sleeping when my old dad and his wife were out doing choirs, ooh ooh I shrugged and reluctantly got up.
I met my dad in the sitting room reading a news paper, I greeted and asked after my mom, she should be somewhere in the house he replied, OK dad let me quickly look for her to say good morning, I said and left to look for my mom. I was passing by the kitchen when I heard noises of plates, it must be mom washing I had thought, I decided to go in.

hey mom good morning I said while opening the door to go in...
good morning sir, a young beautiful and curvy damsel replied. She was the one doing the dishes and my mom wasn't there. As soon as I saw her, I went blank, I couldn't speak, I just stood there staring at her from head to toe. Your mom just left for the garden not quite long she added to the greeting I haven't even answered, she had such an angelic voice and I couldn't help but stare at her lips, ooh OK I managed to say and left the kitchen almost bumping into the door.
I went back to my room and sat on my bed, the picture of the beauty I just saw got stuck in my mind, I couldn't help but imagine how satisfying she would be on bed with such a backside, ooouspss I said and slowly licked my lips, I had already started imagining the details when I heard my name, Mike could you come down for breakfast mom called, I snapped out of my day dream..

Chapter 3

It was early December, I had decided to go spend the festive period with my parents in the village, the plan was to get a decent and well trained girl to marry and what better place to find it than in the village where majority of children are been brought up with high moral standards unlike in the cities where morals have been thrown into the dustbin, u'll see young girls of age fifteen already pregnant, some must have done one or two abortions and the matured ones must have already damaged their womb from carrying out several abortions or that's probably what I thought, I wanted a decent girl who would birth four beautiful kids for me and we would have a beautiful family.

I arrived at my village on a Friday evening, mum was so excited to see me that she couldn't stop hugging me, I have missed you a lot my son she said, how are you and how is business she asked.

Oh business is fine mom, we have expanded and now have three other branches in different parts of owerri I replied

That's very good son, my dad said as he slowly made his way to join mom and I in the sitting room, he had heard mom's screams from the room where he was resting and had gotten up to join in welcoming me.

Good evening dad I greeted, how are you?

Am good son, am so happy to see you he replied.

Mom quickly set the dinning table, she had prepared my favourite meal. We all ate to our satisfaction and after digesting the sumptuous meal, we started to gist.

Mom, dad and I chatted for a while and finally retired to bed when it was quite late. My dad's house was the biggest house in the whole village and it had several unoccupied rooms. I remembered when my parents wanted moving to the village, I was still in the university then, dad was getting old, the city was no longer conducive for him, I need to breath fresh air he had said, mom also agreed with him.....

Ehen as I was saying...
So this girl was already trying to beat me, I just jejely excuse myself from the room while her boyfriend was trying to restrain her, I don't have strength to fight, let me leave them to settle their issues.
Omo see me now am just walking about like someone that don't have house...
Seems she overheard our conversation through the door and the only thing she heard was manhood, now she has concluded he was cheating on her, how funny can girls be..
It baffles me when I see girls fighting over a guy... as in sister where is your self respect?
You just heard one word and you jumped into conclusion, so your guy cannot just have a normal conversation with another girl without you accusing him of cheating...
Aunty if you have trust issues, better work on it and stop disgracing yourself and the poor guy, he might just end up getting tired of you one day.

Anyways am going back to my house now, I just hope he has left with his girlfriend or else, what I would do to her ehn....😒 let me not talk first..

So this friend of mine came over today and we were just gisting and laughing, he was jokingly telling me about how careful and protective he is over his manhood following the recent happenings...
Omo bae, we live in a wicked world oo he said somehow gripping his body like someone who was scared.
Why? What happened, I asked confused
Do you know that they now steal manhood?
I had actually heard about the manhood stealing thing before but I wanted the gist to be more interesting so I pretended not to know..
Whaaaaat? I don't understand, like how is that even possible I asked wearing a surprise look.
Bae I don't know oo but that's what is happening now, as in someone can just wake up and realise his manhood is no longer there.
I almost burst into laughter, I had to hold it so he would continue talking, I knew if I laugh, he would stop. He was already looking at me with one eye to see if I would laugh..
Do you really believe that such a thing can actually happen I asked
It doesn't matter wether I believe it or not, the thing is I don't joke with my manhood, I can't risk it, this days my hands are always in my pocket touching it to ensure that its still there.
At this point, I could not hold it again, I burst into laughter, I was laughing hard when someone forcefully opened the door. It was his girlfriend...
So this is the girl you are cheating on me with? She screamed
Ah aahn..., cheat kwa, but we were just gisting na, I said with a low voice, am sure she didn't hear it
He stood up from his seat, babe how did you know I was here? He asked attempting to hold her but she pushed away his hands and turned towards me..
So you want my boyfriend's manhood ahbi? She asked furiously
ehn.....? I looked at her perplexed, mumu me was asking myself if I was the one she was asking that question as if there was any other girl in the room, omo this girl was already raving mad and calling me names as if she wanted to beat me....

Chapter 2
My name is Mike okechukwu, I am the CEO of okenz global ventures, a well known business enterprise in the whole of owerri.
After a very adventurous journey through the university, I had moved back to imo, my state of origin to settle down. At age 30, I needed to build a life for myself urgently, there was no more time to waste, I mean I wasn't getting any younger and I needed to make something meaningful out of my life.
I had written down an amazing business idea and all I needed was funding to make a substance out of it and that wasn't hard to get. My dad, Mr Kennedy okechukwu was well known amongst high class people and some politicians. He had ventured into politics in his younger days and had made a lot of money from helping some political candidates get votes to attain certain political offices.
It is right to say that business runs in the blood as my dad made good use of the money he made to start up several business which fetches him a lot of money on daily basis. Growing up, I lacked nothing and now it was time for me to make something for myself also and stop depending on my dad and that was easy for me.
In no time, my dad made available the funds I needed to start up my business after I communicated the idea to him and after a period of six months, okenz global enterprise was up and moving. The next thing was to finally get married and start my own family....

KARMA

Chapter 1

The screams of Ngozi could be heard all over the hospital as she struggles to push just as the nurses were instructing. I on the other hand was inpatiently waiting, this baby should just come out already I mumbled to myself.

After what seemed like eternity, there it was, a bouncing baby boy. I couldn't contain my joy, I mean I had waited for this for so long, I was so happy, I was busy screaming with joy when I heard a tap on my back, oga u no go go house? Night don do since o, the voice from behind said, as I turned and opened my eyes, I saw Emeka, the gate man at my working place, oga u no go go house? he repeated, I been think say everybody don go house o until I begin dey hear one loud sound from your office, I even think say na speaker na him I con check con see say na u dey here dey sleep dey snore, oga u dey okay so? He asked. I just stared blankly at him, I couldn't believe it was all a dream, I managed to get up, pulled my jacket from the side, picked up my briefcase and made my way to my car.

The drive home was a pretty exhausting one, there was heavy traffic, it was quite late and everyone was rushing home. After an hour drive, I manage to get home. As expected, Ngozi was already waiting for me at the door. She wore her usual angry face, where the hell are u coming from? She screamed. Who are u cheating on me with? Oh pls Ngozi, can we not do this now, am tired, I want to rest, I said. Oh sure u are tired, after she must have been riding you for hours, why won't u be tired she yelled. Oh Ngozi you are hopeless I said and made way for the bedroom, I entered the bathroom to have a quick shower.

Ngozi couldn't rest, she followed behind nagging, she shouted for a while and later burst into tears, it's all because I have not been able to give you a child right? Is it my fault that God has refuse to give us a child, she broke down, is that why you are treating me this way,? I delayed coming out of the bathroom...
