Over The Seize, hosted by Kris Kotlarik on SRI (UWEC) Expanding the already infinite boundaries of awesome, one song at a time. It just sounded cool at the time and I went with it. Not able to watch? No problem!

Over The Seize is a name inspired by the pirate metal band Alestorm's song, "Over the Seas," and symbolizes...nothing in particular. The show can be heard on Tuesdays from 1-3 PM Central Time on Channel 75 at UWEC. The show can be viewed on SRI's website at http://sri.uwec.edu/

The programming for Over The Seize essentially features random song choices ranging from the ska-punk stylings of RX Ba

ndits to the hilariously awesome and borderline offensive lyrics of Ween, to the brutal Brazilian blast beats (Try saying that four times fast) of Krisiun, and basically everything in between. Some editions of the show will serve as a "concert psych" for an upcoming show and will feature full or partial albums of some of the artists playing in the area. Whenever I can, I'll post the setlist of each show on this page. Encourage the spread of awesome music by buying some of these albums, and/or going to their concerts, because they are awesome and deserve money, and invite everyone to join this page and listen in. Yes, everyone. The host for Over The Seize, Kris Kotlarik, is a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire majoring in Secondary Ed. Broadfield Social Studies and minoring in Broadcast Journalism.
