'I Planned Out My Life When I Was 25; Told Myself I Would Be

Done With Child Birth, Get My Law Degree And Become A University Lecturer At 35' — Influencer, Amanda Chisom, Who's Still A 'Girlfriend' At 36 Years Cries Out

She wrote: “When I was 25

I had my life planned out men. I told myself that 35 I will go back to school and get my Law Degree ,would have been done with child birth and be a lecturer in the university.

See my life now, girlfriend, waist pain,three grey hairs,Throwing back and forth shades with umumbanshi , doing trader and land agent . Children who sai.

Life is really funny, sometimes when I look at the children at the home and all the English they speak about what they want to become and what they will do. I just want to shatter their glass stars and tell them " Life will humble them in a vicious ways".

But what would we be without our dreams, I have long given up planning my life, whatever the gods bring, I thank them and go. It is our lot, it is God's plan and we are grateful, at least we are not an unmarked grave at the cemetery.”

On 08/01/2024 at about 1pm, the marketing staff of Globus bank, Ikorodu, Lagos, a lady one Amarachi Ugochukwu aged 32yrs was found deàd in the staff toilet.
It happened that she had left her phone on her table and the phone kept ringing which made her colleagues to start looking for her, after which the office toilet door was noticed to have been locked behind. However, the door was forcefully opened and her motionless body with an empty medium sized SNIPPER bottle and a diary where she wrote :-

"NOTHING IS WORKING IN MY LIFE"

"MY FIGURES ARE LOW"

"MY BRAIN IS CLOGGED UP"

"THE ECONOMY IS GETTING HARDER"

"MY DECISIONS ARE WRONG"

"MY MIND IS MESSED UP"

"THE FUTURE DOESN'T SEEN BRIGHT AT ALL, I SEE EXTREME HARDSHIP. I CAN'T BEAR THE PAIN ANYMORE"

"I'M SORRY MOM, I'M SORRY DAD, I'M SORRY NENE, OKWE, TUTONAZOR, CHUCHU, IFUNANYA"

"DEAR LORD HAVE MERCY ON ME!"

‘Characters’ In BBC’s Documentary On TB Joshua Unknown To Us – Synagogue church

The Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) has countered the BBC documentary on the late Temitope Babatunde Joshua, known as TB Joshua, founder of SCOAN.

SCOAN described the documentary against TB Joshua as unfounded, and that the characters interviewed in the report were unknown to the church.

The church, in a statement signed by its Public Affairs Director, Mr Dare Adejumo, said the statement was aimed at disabusing public minds from the report.

How I Went Into Hiding For Eight Years — TB Joshua’s Ex-Disciple

A former disciple of the Late Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as TB Joshua, Paul Agomoh, has disclosed that he had to go into hiding for nearly eight years, after his initial attempt to expose the activities of the late presiding Pastor of the Synagogue Church of All Nations.

Agomoh disclosed this to journalists, following a screening of a 150-minute-long investigative report carried out by the BBC Africa Eye, titled “Disciples: The Cult of TB Joshua,” which featured testimonies from former disciples and church workers, accusing the late prophet of manipulation and physical abuse, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, on Monday evening.

While stating that he was the first Prophet under the SCOAN, Agomoh said he was pursued around across Cotonou, Lagos and Ghana, by loyalists of Prophet TB Joshua who believed that his revelations were blasphemy against the prophet.

“I was the first prophet of the Synagogue church, and I spent more than a decade in the Synagogue between 1995 and 2006. And I just want to thank the BBC. This is a journey I started in 2009. I released a video with Sister Bisola, ‘The Deception of the Age’. When I left there, the incident that led to my leaving is not a story I can finish here. It is a terrible experience. I decided to leave. When I left, I could not sleep, I could not rest. The burden was so much on me. I had to move out with the help of some pastors in ministry, and my friends.

Peter Obi Visits IDP Camps In Bokkos & Barkin-ladi LGAs, Donates N5 Million

The 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, on Saturday, paid a condolence visit to the IDP camps in Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi LGAs following tragic attacks that have seen many dead and several displaced.

Obi expressed concern about the number of Nigerians seeking refuge as displaced persons in their country, describing the situation as unacceptable and urging the government to address it.

He pledged five million naira each to the Bokkos & Barkin-Ladi LGAs where the displaced persons are currently seeking refuge and promised to plead to other Nigerians to come to their aid.

The former Anambra State Governor alongside his Vice-Presidential Candidate in the last general election, Datti Baba-Ahmed had earlier visited the Kano home of the Na'abbas following the death of their patriarch and ex-House of Reps Speaker, Ghalli Umar Na'abba.

BREAKING: Supreme Court Declines To Free Nnamdi Kanu
The Supreme Court on Friday declined to order the release of the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, from detention.in a judgment delivered by Justice Emmanuel Agim, but written by Justice Garba Lawal, voided and set aside the judgment of the Court of Appeal, which in October last year ordered Kanu’s release and quashed the terrorism charges against him.
The Supreme Court held that although the Nigerian government recklessly and unlawfully rendered Kanu from Kenya, such an unlawful act has not divested any court from proceeding with trial.

Breaking: Decomposing Body Of Young Woman Found In Her Abuja Apartment.* The decomposing body of a young woman identified as Fecit Faith Banfa, has been discovered in her residence in Abuja. The discovery was made on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, after neighbours forced the door open following an unpleasant stench that was oozing from her apartment. Details surrounding her death are still sketchy but some sources claimed the Plateau-born businesswoman was poisoned

Seventy-year-old Ugandan Woman Gives Birth To Twins
A 70-year-old woman has given birth to twins following IVF treatment, a hospital in Uganda has said.
Safina Namukwaya delivered a boy and a girl via caesarean at a fertility centre in the capital, Kampala.
Ms Namukwaya, who is is one of the oldest women to give birth, the hospital told local media it was a "miracle".The hospital congratulated her, saying it is more than a "medical success; it's about the strength and resilience of the human spirit".

A student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Osun state, Subair Enitan on Friday commenced 50-hour hand wash-a-thon to set a Guinness World Record. Enitan, who had notified the Guinness World Record of her intentions in June this year, was given November 24th, 2023 to embark on her attempt.

Abia Poly Student And Only Son Of His Parents Drowns In A River In Umuahia While Swimming.A young man, Chidera Kenneth, believed to be a student of Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, has drowned in Umuchime River in Umuahia.The student, who was said to be the only male child of his parents, drowned in the river, weekend while trying to ‘cool off’ during a hot afternoon, with some of his friends who came with him for a swimming expedition.
Chidera did not understand the tide and depth of the river before jumping in to swim.
He was said to have hailed from Uzuakoli in Bende LGA of the State before his fatal end.
Though, the State Police Command and the authorities of the Abia State Polytechnic are yet to confirm the death of the student, his lifeless body has so far been brought out of the river.
