Take Over wants to expand societies’ thoughts on what Urban Literature stands for. Urban Fiction does not only involve street life but the grit and rawness of growing up with the leftovers from the generation before us, left those in Urban areas with stories to tell. Urban areas are diverse in their methods of succeeding in life. Urban areas house ethnic diversities as well. Therefore we will not limit ourselves to just the surface of what society thinks about Urban Literature. We know that different people from the same place have different stories to tell. We have a need to write about the darkness of the forgotten and we have a need to read about the triumphs of the forgotten and relate. Take Over aims to fulfill those needs to two audiences. First, Take over will be a publishing outlet for authors from all around the globe who have written Urban leisure intended literary of all genres. Helping to make dreams of being a published author become a reality, as well as providing them with income. Second, we will also be a publishing house that solicits, promotes and distributes reading material for people who enjoy and can relate to the in-depth voyage of being a minority and poor in this society. ​ Take Over will be introducing its own genre Ghetto Gospel, These stories will be suspenseful journeys of flesh versus spirit. We all have struggled with the enemy within, caught between Christian fiction and Street fiction. TakeOver has provided an in-between genre Ghetto Gospel. We will provide more and more information as the books come out.
