North Country Music Awards MISSION - TO RECOGNIZE THE EFFORTS OF INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS WHO PERFORM AND PROMOTE COUNTRY MUSIC. Affiliations: CMA * NSAI * NYSAAF * CCMA

The NORTH COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS is about recognizing the efforts of singers, bands, and songwriters who have been creating and performing Country Music; also promoters and radio personalities who have helped advance opportunites for country performing and recording artists. Just as there are awards in the national CMA such as "Entertainer Of The Year", "Male and Female Vocalist", "Horizon Award", "

Musician" and "Songwriter" awards; here in the North Country we have many talented individuals and groups who deserve recognition. Our NCMA awards is a new endeavor for 2014 and we are sponsored by the Great Schaghticoke Fair in Schaghticoke, New York to have a venue for our show. Launched by Jim Staats of Big House Entertainment Group, Inc. who is serving as temporary director, NCMA is seeking individuals who would like to serve as charter members to forge the success of NCMA. We are now accepting nominations for individuals and groups in the above categories with our awards show scheduled for Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 2PM at the Schaghticoke fair.
