Sunscreen and sunscreen, although used interchangeably, are two different forms of sun protection. Sunscreens, which are more commonly used, filter out most of the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays. The sunscreen reflects the sun’s rays away from your skin, preventing them from penetrating. Both are an excellent form of sun protection, according to the American Academy of Dermatology, which advises against using them on top of each other as long as you protect them from UVA and UVB rays and have an SPF (SPF) of 30 or higher.
Sunscreens with SPF 15 or more offer a protective barrier against the sun's rays and reduce the harmful effects on the face and body.
