FUNDRAISER FOR NIÑOS INCAPACITADOS

Monday, January 27 at 3 pm

Marking 56 years since the historic, last Beatles’ “rooftop” concert on London’s Savile Row, our local popular “Rooftop Romeos” will perform Fab Four music and more on the shaded, second-floor deck at El Bar Co. restaurant. Doors open at 2 pm.

All ticket proceeds go to Niños Incapacitados. Tickets must be purchased in advance. To purchase tickets, go to www.programaninos.com. Ticket cost is not known at this time.

Each ticket includes one complimentary wine, beer, or margarita. More drinks and food can be purchased at the event. El Bar Co. in Ajijic is located on the mountainside of the Carretera, just west of the Pemex station.

Since 1974, Niños Incapacitados is a nonprofit, volunteer group that helps government-qualified Mexican families pay ongoing and one-time major medical expenses for children with serious disabilities or life-threatening illnesses. It serves families throughout Lakeside, from Chapala to Jocotepec.

For more event information about Niños Incapacitados, go to www.programaninos.com.

Later is here! Write your epilogue presented by Dr. Kelly Bennett

Think of your life as a large book consisting of three parts: a prologue, a main story, and an epilogue. The prologue introduces events leading up to the main story, while an epilogue reveals the fate of the characters active in the main story. Consider comparing your own life as we briefly review a typical human developmental pattern of aspirations, yearnings and aims. Let’s see what main life story you carry with you.

In addition to the processions, locals and visitors can enjoy solemn masses, folkloric dances, bullfights, and a lively fair. These festivities are a beautiful display of Jocotepec's rich culture and traditions.
