Dodge Releases 2024 Hornet Pricing
Dodge has released the 2024 Dodge Hornet price, its latest subcompact crossover.
The 2024 Dodge Hornet price has been released along with some other details. The 2024 Hornet comes in four trims, each equipped with all-wheel drive, and has a starting price of $31,590 for the GT trim. The GT Plus trim costs $36,490, the R/T costs $41,590, and the R/T Plus is priced at $46,490.
The 2024 Dodge Hornet GT trim is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine that produces 268 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. It is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Standard features on the GT trim include six-way power front seats, a 12.3-inch instrument display, 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and safety features such as automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear-cross traffic alert, automatic wipers and parking sensors.
The Track Package, which costs $2,995, adds Alcantara seats, a dual-mode suspension, 20-inch black wheels, aluminum sills, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Tech Pack, which costs $2,295, adds adaptive cruise control, active driving assist, parking assist, and surround-view cameras. The Blacktop Package, priced at $1,995, changes the badging to black and replaces the standard wheels with black 18-inch wheels. The Hornet is available in seven colors, with Q Ball white and 8 Ball black being the only free options. The rest of the color options cost between $495 and $595. A compact spare tire costs an additional $350.
The Plus Package costs $4,900 and adds features such as automatic high-/low-beam headlights, LED fog lights, a leather interior with climate controlled front seats, navigation, wireless charging, Harman Kardon audio, a sunroof, and a power tailgate.
The 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T trim is mostly focused on the plug-in hybrid powertrain, which is based on a 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine and is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The total output is 288 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, and it can do more than 30 miles of all-electric driving on a single charge. The R/T trim comes with 18-inch wheels, an eight-way powered seat for the driver, a six-way powered seat for the front passenger, and safety features such as automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and blind-spot monitoring.
The 2024 Dodge Hornet is expected to hit dealer lots in early spring, with the R/T arriving early summer.
The 2024 Dodge Hornet pricing is lower than it’s sister model, the Alfa Romeo Tonale. In comparison, the Alfa Romeo Tonale’s base model, the Tonale Sprint, starts at $3,000 more than the Hornet R/T, and the Ti trim is expected to cost around $50,000. The Veloce trim and any additional options will likely push the price beyond the $53,000 needed for a loaded Dodge Hornet R/T Plus.

Toyota introduces the The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander at the Chicago Auto Show in February 2023. It is the latest addition to the SUV lineup at Toyota. It is designed as a 3-row midsize-SUV that prioritizes interior comfort in all three rows. The Grand Highlander offers unique styling, new tech and new safety features. It will be available with three different engine options, a 2.4L turbo gas engine, 2.5L hybrid engine, and Hybrid MAX engine. The hybrid powertrains are part of Toyota's efforts towards carbon neutrality and the Grand Highlander is the second Toyota vehicle to wear the "Beyond Zero" badge, after the all-new Prius.
Creature Comforts with Added Versatility
The Grand Highlander is designed to prioritize interior comfort, with thoughtful storage areas and spacious seating for all three rows of passengers. It is equipped with ample cargo space, and with the seats folded down, offers around 98 cubic feet of space. The interior is functional for all passengers, with controls centered around a 12.3-inch multimedia display and a configurable center console that includes a wireless charger, USB ports, and cup holders.
In the second row, there are air conditioning controls and USB ports within reach, and cup holders and storage space in the center armrest and rear console. The third row is equipped with individual USB ports, smartphone/tablet storage space, and cup holders for added convenience. Across all three rows, there are 13 cup holders and 7 USB-C charge ports, making it road-trip ready.
Additional creature comforts include a heated steering wheel and power-folding mirrors (Limited and Platinum), heated and ventilated front and second-row seats (Platinum), 1,500-Watt power outlets (Limited Hybrid, Limited Hybrid MAX, and Platinum Hybrid MAX), and a hands-free power back door (Limited and Platinum).

The Grand Highlander offers three powertrain options: a 2.4L turbo gas engine, a 2.5L hybrid, and a 362-horsepower Hybrid MAX. All three powertrains are available in front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations, providing options for balance, efficiency, and performance.
Each powertrain comes with three Drive Modes (Sport, Eco, Normal), and the gas AWD and Hybrid MAX powertrains are equipped with Multi-Terrain Select with Three Modes (Mud & Sand, Rock & Dirt, Snow) for added on and off-road capability.
