Hi Everyone,
We really appreciate all our followers and supporters. It has been a great 14 year journey with you all here on Facebook.

However, all of us at Small World Stories find that META changes recently in regard to fact checking and diversity, equity and inclusion policies in contravention of our values, ethics and policies! We have noted the changes happening over time and have been concerned but this is the final straw for us both personally and as a company that values fact, truth and equality in all realms of life.

At SWS we believe in free speech, but such speech should be true and factual, and as such should be able to withstand a fact check. We see the removal of factchecking as being the harbinger of more miss and dis-information, something we believe needs to be fought tooth and nail at all levels.

Diversity, equity and inclusion policies, we believe are a corner stone of a fair and equal society and removing such policies leads only to inequality, sexism, racism and hatred based on differences.

As such we at SWS hereby are withdrawing any paid accounts or services with any Meta platform and will no longer use any of the paid Meta boosting or data services for us or any of our clients that we produce communication product for.

Furthermore we are currently assessing whether to close our pages on any Meta platform and focus on the non-META platforms that retain an ethical standard that is inline with our values and policies.

We will keep you informed and share our thoughts and decisions going forward.

We really hope you understand our position here and we hope other companies also follow this lead.
Thanks again everyone, talk soon
The Team
