Through #art activism, Nelson Kokoa is helping young people in 🇵🇬#PNG to handle difficult challenges. He’s the co-founder and director of Art Activism PNG, reaching out to communities, addressing social issues like depression and loss through art, dance and song.
Nelson’s sister passed away when he was in his 10th grade of high school. “We have a patriarchal society, and so it makes it difficult for men to talk about their feelings. I never went through that grieving process.”
