Clark Kent, also known as , first rose to fame in the late 1980s as rapper Dana Dane's DJ and performed alongside other prominent DJs like Funkmaster Flex and Kid Capri. Throughout his illustrious career, DJ Clark Kent has produced tracks for some of the biggest names in hip hop, including Lil' Kim, The Notorious B.I.G., and 50 Cent. He also played a key role in the start of Roc-A-Fella Records by introducing Damon Dash to Jay-Z and producing three tracks on Jay-Z's debut album, Reasonable Doubt.
