Celebrating our music community. Modesto Area Music Awards is not just a yearly Awards show anymore. M.A.M.A. A nod to the past while looking towards the future.
Last October the Modesto Area Music Awards celebrated 15 years of music. There has been plans to be more then just an awards show for sometime now. We decided that it has been to long and there is a need to move beyond. Records has formed and hope to be a resource in spreading the sounds of the 209 to a much wider audience. Our first release will be set to coincide with the Awards Show in October
and will be a multi genre compilation featuring winners from the past 15 years. All past MAMA Winners are welcome to send in a submission for this release. Of course we would love unreleased or rare tracks but any songs will be considered. All submissions will be included in an online downloadable compilation. A curated CD will be released and be available at this years Modesto Area Music Awards in October. Plans to release more music from our region and sell and distribute music from local artist.
