So we’re just hanging out at this place in the desert where we fly FPV sometimes, and this desert tortoise just walks right up to us to say hello. We offered some water, but it seemed more interested in my phone when I brought it down low to take photos. No sense of scale from this photo, but it’s shell was probably a good 14 - 15 inches across maybe a little more. First time since I’ve lived here I’ve seen one in person. So cool! Wish I’d had a real camera with me for this one.

Managed to get a few shots of last night’s . Had a lot of clouds to contend with so not as many keepers as I’d hoped. Here’s my favorite of the night!
