There's an Email scam going around. You get an official looking email from The postal service, saying "your package can't be delivered because the address on file is incorrect" Then, it has you put in your "correct" address. Then, it wants your credit card info. Scammers are getting creative!

You can hire someone to drive your car or make money for you, but you can't hire someone to stand sick and die for you.

Most of us grew up believing that when we got old, and can't take care of ourselves, there would be family there to help. Tradition, and respect for our elders, was just a part of life. Not any more. Now, we take care of ourselves, and try to fend off the scammers, con artists, and deadbeats who just want something for free.
If you have family you can count on, you're lucky. Let them know you appreciate it!

11 years ago, we rook in Angel, an 8 lb Havanese who was kept in a cage, making babies for 3 years. First thing we did was have her spayed. She has outlived all our other dogs, and will soon be 15. She is spoiled, can barely walk so she gets carried wherever she needs to go. She howls LOUDLY if I leave her sight for more than 5 minutes. She has her humans well trained!

Didn't want another kitten, but we rescued him from downtown, where his chances of survival weren't very good. He's a real sweetheart, loves head butts, getting petted,playing in the cat tree. I named him Shadow. I'd love to find him a home with kids, who can grow up with him. He's about 8 weeks old. If you have been looking for a black cat, he's your guy!

I have partnered with Robin's Nest Of Indy, Inc. to help me with our newest kitty, plus Macy Grey's litter of 7. Once we take care of paperwork, they will help with all vet expenses, and help us find homes for the kittens when they are old enough. The kittens are just 2 weeks old.. Shadow, our newest kitty, is about 8-10 weeks old, she came from the cat colony downtown. She is solid black, and very sweet. PM me if you would like to meet her.

The kittens went to a great foster yesterday. I'll miss the little brats, but they are off to a good start in life. They are still up for adoption, but you will need to contact Homers Helpers.

These 3 adorable kittens were closed in a box, and left in an alley. Thank goodness a kind hearted person came along, found them, and called someone, who called me. I've been fostering them, and tomorrow they will all be vetted and get their 1st shots. They love being around people. 2 males, 1 female. About 10 weeks old. PM me for more info.

These kittens came from this abandoned garage, and went to a great home in Bloomington. 3 months later, they are doing fine, and living indoors. I try very hard to find good homes for all of them, but as we all know, it's getting harder and harder. I won't let an animal go to a home I'm not pretty sure about. Thankfully, Dusty, Midnite, and Stallone ended up in their forever homes!

Facebook has become just about worthless, especially when it comes to helping animals. There are so many scams, and fake fundraisers, that most people just don't bother with it.
