That time I walked across the park in Holborn to visit two museums. @hunterianmuseum and @soanemuseum. Both free and both definitely worth a visit or two or more! #museumtime #museum #secretlondon #historymade #lincolninnfields #architecture #stuff #bodies #dissection #medical #rome #sarcophagus

Love a charity shop find!
I do like to tailor my stuff - although never look too close, I’m a lazy sewer.
Wore this to a meeting and it was admired.
This super cute skirt is @littlewhitelieslondon, belt was from the same charity shop, shirt was a mash up of ones I was gonna throw away and shoes @jonak

Up your maypole!
When you’re out for a stroll at the street market and you get grabbed for the ‘opening maypole’ number whilst being called the ‘Bermondsey Street girls’… doesn’t every Saturday start like this?

Keeping history alive
A shop on the Traquir road has seen many businesses come and go since it was built - and now permission has been granted to turn it into a tap room. Durty Brewing will transform the inside but keep many of the items found inside and ensure that both the old and new work together.

Getting your hands dirty
Creating art doesn't have to mean making a masterpiece - it's about having fun and it can get messy. Claire Beattie - Artist developed a workshop for people to express themselves and take time away from the worries of the world. Currently the course is in Duns, and has the backing of Health in Mind but it's hoped that projects like this will take off across the borders.
Getting out to try a new sport

Community larder helps as the cost of living rises
Volunteers at Chirnside Community Larder do an amazing job to make sure the shelves are always full.
As the cost of living rises, larder's like the one at Chirnside Community Centre has been a real lifelife for some.
They take surplus food from supermarkets, which would have been thrown away, and give it to those that come to the door.
Bus companies facing driver shortage in South of Scotland
Borders Buses has introduced an emergency timetable throughout the Borders after sickness, covid and the lack of new drivers meant they were cancelling routes at the last minute.
Christine Grahame MSP has called on the UK Government to step in and add bus drivers to the shortage occupation list, which would make it easier for employers to offer jobs to migrants.
Walking for mental health
Walking for nearly a year, Karsten Rinck Mütze On Tour and his dog Lotte, started out from their hometown near Hamburg, Germany travelled through France, England and Wales and came to stop in Innerleithen.
With such terrible weather, he asked locals for somewhere warm to stay and Innerleithen fire station were quick to offer a fellow firefighter a roof over his head.
Kartsen doesn't walk for charity, or to raise money - he started because he was coping with his mental health and now he says he's on 'the biggest adventure' and wants to encourage others who may be facing their own challenges to get out and try walking.
