This year is the 160th birthday for the Tube and they’ve brought out a 1938 model to celebrate- no electronics needed back then - it was quieter than the jubilee line and cooler than the central!
For those that were buried as outcasts hundreds of years ago and for those that want a place to remember their loved ones today the has immense value.

Thank you for the awards… does it matter they aren’t mine. Nah.
When it’s a bank holiday and the rain comes down in buckets why not go and get some hints and tips for torture

Walking for nearly a year, Karsten Rinck Mütze On Tour and his dog Lotte, started out from their hometown near Hamburg, Germany travelled through France, England and Wales and came to stop in Innerleithen. With such terrible weather, he asked locals for somewhere warm to stay and Innerleithen fire station were quick to offer a fellow firefighter a roof over his head. Kartsen doesn't walk for charity, or to raise money - he started because he was coping with his mental health and now he says he's on 'the biggest adventure' and wants to encourage others who may be facing their own challenges to get out and try walking.
