Ok so freshman year is when my Dad passed. I was so angry at life for taking him away from my family. Hell, anyone who didn't appreciate how fragile life could be was instantly on my s**t list. Then I started to hear about Brandon Lee and being such a karate nerd I had to check out his films. He was instantly my new favorite action star, not just because he was a tough guy, but he was a tough guy who used his brains as much as his braun. Then the tragedy of him passing during the filming of The Crow hit me really hard. I remember sitting in the theater when it came out and I felt that James O'Barr's story touched on much of the rage I had been feeling for years. This was a story that made me not feel so alone.

Now there's a lot of pi**ed people on the net angry over the remake of this movie. As for me I probably won't watch it the theaters. That's not a knock on the film, it's just I've already seen "my" Crow. This film is for a newer audience.

I hope there's some people watching the new movie who feel the same way I did watching the original,

"Victims, aren't we all..."
