Cachai is a Chilean word that´s being used as Chilean slang.

Cachia roughly means `You understand!` or ´You know what I mean!`. A strong motto to pursue as an electronic music label. Cachai Music is a label based on collaboration between Europe and Latin America. DJ/ producers Daniel Sanchez and Andre Butano teamed up to bring the musical similarities of these continents together. Daniel Sanchez is a Spanish/Dutch Amsterdam based techno DJ and producer, who

is well known and respected across the world with his minimal techno label Bla Bla Music. Andre Butano lives in Santiago de Chile, South America and is one of the biggest dj/producers in Chile. Andre is resident DJ at Club La Feria , the most respected club in Santiago de Chile. His productions have been released throughout the world, on labels such as Bla Bla, 8bit and Brise. In the past years, when Daniel and Andre were touring apart, but also together in both continents, they noticed that there is a musical connection between the two. The main goal for Cachai Music is to bring the Latin American and European sound closer to each other. Cachai’s main focus will be groovy dance floor orientated music. Cachai doesn’t want to categorize there sound in to subgenres like minimal or tech house. The most important element is that the sound needs to be groovy! From the start in September 2014 , Cachai will be releasing twelve digital releases a year, one for every month. Every four months a track selection of the best digital releases will be released on vinyl. These will be called: Al Palo!
