Painting Strange Glue Studios is run by the artist Issa Salliander. At the moment she is working on her next show titled ‘The Mexican Dream'.

Her practice involves progressive figurative painting that often marries the seemingly abstract. Her style is characterised by classical training and rock n roll irreverence - seamlessly blended with a sprinkle of ambiguity. The essence of her work - the battle between good vs evil, light vs dark was inspired by her growing up listening to 60/70s music.
