The reason why I decided to create this page is that it happened so often when overseas, that when someone hears that I live in Singapore, their response is: "Ah, I've been to Singapore, what a boring place, just one big city with a little artificial holiday island called Sentosa." Singapore may be a big city with a little artificial holiday island called Sentosa, but it is definitely NOT BORING.
After living here for over a decade, I still haven't run out of things to do and see. Singapore may be viewed as boring, because compared to many other places in the world, it is very safe. The likelihood of being attacked, robbed, or shot is extremely small. If an 80+ year old lady goes alone for a walk in a park, she is safe and nobody will bother her. I'm not complaining. Singapore is continuously changing. Nature parks and park connectors are being improved and many new park connectors are being created. There are also all the little islands south which are great for outings. This page is a log of some of my outdoor adventures in Singapore. Hopefully this can give you some ideas about where you could go the next time you visit Singapore. Special thanks to NParks. Keep up the good work! FEATURED PARKS:
