Metallica has rescheduled the second night of its No Repeat Weekend at State Farm Stadium in Glendale after cutting Friday's concert short by two songs.
The concert scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 3, will now be Saturday, Sept. 9.

Metallica released a statement saying, "Metallica is very sorry to report that tomorrow’s scheduled M72 date at State Farm Stadium in Glendale AZ has been postponed to Saturday, September 9, 2023, as unfortunately Covid has caught up with James Hetfield."
The band members, it added, "are extremely disappointed and regret any inconvenience this has caused; they look forward to returning to complete the M72 no repeat weekend in Glendale next Saturday."

Disturbed; dismantled by the searing Arizona heat!
Disturbed, Jinjer and Breaking Benjamin were set to hit the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater stage in Phoenix AZ this evening but with temperatures fluctuating between 115-118 degrees; man and machine were breaking down rapidly! Reportedly, some of the stage gear had failed due to the excessive heat which in turn caused a long delay for the peps outside to get into the venue with the attempted stage change. After an hour plus of people outdoors standing in line, some needed medical attention due to heat prostration and possibly in some cases, alcohol was involved which is surely a recipe for disaster in the heat. With no word on the event status, many people started leaving the venue as the heat was just too much to bear. At about 7:15 pm local time, an unofficial announcement was made to us media folks that there was an indefinite postponement to the show; which translated into.....get the heck out of the heat and back into an AC building ASAP!!
As we departed, the line to exit was already backed up but at least now we were in an air conditioned vehicle.
Hopefully, everyone who needed medical attention received their necessary care and we'll all be able to catch this incredible show when temperatures are milder and we can all enjoy this show when the health and safety of concert goes is not a concern...at least due to the weather. We look forward to the new Disturbed show in AZ!

Friday Night Exploded In Phoenix Arizona! Our good friends from Los Angeles, STONEBREED landed at the Starlight Lounge and set the place on fire with their kick-ass set. Thank you to Carlos Bates Cruz for an Awesome night! We also ran into our friend Steve Favela from Ten Cent Revenge who also did a killer set on this show - what a KICK ASS Night! My favorite STONEBREED song is "WHISKY" bringing back all those great memories of great nights and great friends at the Whisky A GO GO in Los Angeles! Brilliant!
