We’re closing out this season of the podcast and we couldn’t think of a better guest to help us wrap up.

We’re thrilled to be joined this week by CEO and Founder of Ella, Erin Gallagher (.gallag.her)!

Erin is passionate about making sure women have access to the same opportunities, connections, and capital that men have had access to…well since forever!

We dive into some of the experiences we had as kids that have shaped us, things we’re unlearning, and how we are modeling the change we want to see in the world to our children– a world that is inclusive, and supports women to thrive!

Erin also shares ways she is making change in the gap between men and women’s opportunities and treatment in the workplace. Tune in to see how Ella is leading that charge, shoot us a DM with a takeaway, and let Erin know which city to host her next networking event!

Chicks Who Give a Hoot Episode 70 is all about how your feminine energy empowers you. And what can you do to cultivate it? Our guest is the owner and creator of the Femme Farm, Heather Speiser! Heather is a passionate curator of beauty and healing through the lens of feminine energy.

We love Heather’s quick tip from our episode about actually receiving a compliment instead of deflecting it.

Do you have a bad habit of rejecting compliments or do you confidently accept them?

You may have heard the phrase "feminine energy" before, but what does it mean?

For Heather Speiser, it's about cultivating a sense of empowerment in your life. She believes that the feminine energy is the key to unlocking your potential, and she's here to tell us how to do that.

Heather has been working with women for years. She's worked in sales, marketing, and information technology—all jobs that have given her a unique perspective on how women are treated in corporate America. But she also had some traumatic experiences as a young woman that left her feeling disconnected from herself and others.

That's why she decided to turn all of those struggles into something meaningful: The Femme Farm! It's an experience-based retreat center for women who want to heal their lives through connection with other women.

The feminine energy is something that can be difficult to harness. But it doesn't have to be this way! In this podcast episode, we're joined by Heather Speiser, the founder of The Femme Farm—a sanctuary for women to connect, heal, and find their own path forward.

Heather's path wasn't always straight. She started her journey in marketing and retail sales but found herself lacking in many ways. As she went along her journey, she began to question everything: from the materialism of our world, to wounded leaders and patriarchal mindsets. And then one day it hit her: what if all those things we thought were important were actually holding us back? What if those beliefs about who we should be and how we should act weren't true?

She began looking at things differently, which led her on a path toward discovering the power of feminine energy. In late 2019, she created The Femme Farm as an entrepreneurial space focused on helping women find their true selves through connection with each other and their own paths forward.

We believe that women are the best natural advocates. When women are resourced, it has an impact that can be felt far and wide– a massive ripple effect.

Women tend to share knowledge and money and power and resources with their communities, families, and future generations.

That’s why we’re so interested in stories of women who are doing incredible things in the world. We hope that this is another way to encourage you to get involved.

We can all likely point to literacy as a foundational part of our current success, but it’s easy to glaze over its profound importance.

When young girls slip through the cracks and become women who can’t read, it affects their lives more than we can imagine.

Randi is trying to restore that sense of dignity and relevance to these women through her adult literacy programs. She’s dropping all kinds of wisdom in our episode this week.
