THE BREAKAWAY TRAVELLERS is an association of young well-travelled filmmakers, producers, journalists and illustrators, currently working on our first project together: the travel documentary "Yavaarai". As a team, we aim to motivate and mobilize youths to take advantage of online global communities in order to expand their horizons, see the world and experience new cultures. YAVAARAI is an
optimistic documentary aimed at inspiring young people to travel and experience the diversity our planet has to offer. The documentary will be shot in different parts of Europe, with a final trip to Kenya, and will show alternative ways of travelling - specifically workaway schemes and couch surfing. THE BREAKAWAY TRAVELLERS esta formado por un equipo de cineastas, productores, periodistas y ilustradores que, por primera vez, trabajan juntos en un proyecto: el documental sobre viajes “Yavaarai”. Nuestro objetivo es motivar y movilizar a la juventud a aprovechar comunidades globales online para ampliar sus horizontes, ver el mundo y descubrir nuevas culturas. YAVAARAI es un documental optimista enfocado a inspirar a la juventud a viajar y experimentar la diversidad que ofrece nuestro planeta.
