In the heart of Pennsylvania, where the mountains stand tall,
Lies a place of legend, where dreams begin to call.
Deer Lake, oh Deer Lake, where champions would train,
Muhammad Ali's camp, where victory would reign.

Fly like a butterfly, sting like a bee,

Saw Old Crow Medicine Show for the first time. I remember Andy describing them like “ they are so well rehearsed they are like a Broadway show” and the second I saw them I could not get that out of my head! Great show! High energy and great connection to the audience. Lots of fun!

Really enjoyed this Old Crow Medicine show tonight. First time I saw them and it’s a very finely oiled concert machine… they do have a great way to connect to the crowd with the music and they took the time to learn about Pennsylvania and it’s coal and steel history… great crowd engagement on this song… now the odd thing about the whole show is that they have a picture of a landscape behind and there is a prominently place BP sign behind the drummer that showed well the whole time…. I asked the sound persons if it was a sponsored deal and he said no it’s part of the North Carolina picture he has been looking for 2 years.. strategically placed behind the drummer… really enjoyed the show and I just thought this little ad was a bit odd… bands can endorse brands like Michael Jackson and Pepsi but BP at a time like this maybe a bad idea….
